This week of trying to speedrun Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy was probably the most frustrating week of my life. But all my improvement made it worth.

After going for the golden cauldron this quarantine, I was able to shorten my time from around 2 year long runs to 5-6 minute long runs lmao. It’s definitely possible, but REALLY challenging for sure :D

Getting over it was weird for me. First time took me a couple hours. Then 30 minutes. Then 10 minutes. Now I get sub 10 and normally around 5 minutes every time.

I actually really love this game! I’ve played it a lot more (I think), but less consistently (and also I didn’t know about the trackpad tuning thing) so my best run was a 13 min 13.917 sec The game means a lot to me, but I feel like I probably invented a lot of that meaning for myself, and not all of it was intended, but nonetheless this game is beautiful (if frustrating at times) to me.
