The tires look great and 49.4mph is pretty good considering you weren't really able to hold full throttle vey long. Looking forward to the 100mph slash video.

There's more to it. Spring rates . Shock oil weight, roll center , took me awhile to get my slash where i like it . Racing dirt mod oval helped alot

Yeah it’s just a matter of actually getting the car to those speeds. The potential is there but it’s definitely challenging

This is not a good place. It’s way too busy. I’m constantly just worrying about cars coming and trying to get enough time to make a pass. I need somewhere else…something that’s not a public road preferably

The 2wd Slash is very difficult to keep on the ground doing speed runs….the wind probably was somewhat of a factor though with it parachuting

I got power strokes on my Slash. I'm really happy with them. I race it on a clay track and they preform great. Plus I haven't broke them yet. Little expensive but you'll be happy with them. Have a good one 👍

The parachute effect is very real with the Slash body…I think it’ll take a significant amount of weight to keep the front end down

Personally I'd go with the Platinum and Ultimate aluminum gtr shocks. Pro-Line's will probably be more expensive to buy and repair. On top of that, they could get discontinued. I'm guessing gtrs will be around longer.

Maybe. Never seen the GTR shocks put on a Slash 2wd before. Maybe they’d fit? They’d have to be spaced quite a bit to fit though

@@RCKnockout Just like the big bores,, gtrs are just upgrades for the very common ultra shocks which are the same on most 1/10 2wds and 4wds, except for maybe the springs. There's a page on the official Traxxas website where they customized a Bandit and gtrs were one of the upgrades. So definitely not just for 4x4s. Just make sure you get the right ones if you buy them. The revos are too short.

Does it have the stock gearing? It’s possible it could be in training mode. It should probably do at least 33mph or more with a 2s lipo installed

All the electronics have been replaced so nothing is traxxas anymore and gearing wise it should be a little bit better then stock because I have replaced the pinion with a smaller one
