I am from South Africa, and I constantly hear how Americans refer to us being less fortunate. But our relationship with God has to do with more than that, being delivered from traumatic experiences, hurt pain, finding peace and unconditional love from God, which has nothing to do with finances because those things automatically follow.

Hello, prayed. If you are not used to complete fasting from food and God would be ok with that for you then try a Daniels fast. I say if God would be ok because He might want you to do a fast that is for example not eating after some hour or just a regular fast- not eating food. Always ask God but I think Daniels could help!

Even a small fast like giving up one meal a day, can do amazing things! Im unable to fast anymore, because I start feeling dizzy and hangry ECT. But doing this has brought me closer to God. And the answers are amazing and clear.

@@Godfavorabletome praying in tongues isn't better than simply praying. We each have our own gifts and the greatest is Love. I've prayed about tongues and God told me that it's between him and those that do. It's not for me to get distracted or obsessed with. Simply praying to my Father is best!

@@paolafriedrickto fast according to God’s word is to fast from food and/or drink. That’s the only way to kill your flesh and get more in the spirit which is the point of fasting. The word becomes your word.

True biblical fasting is abstaining from all food for a certain period of time!!! Not taking certain phone calls is not fasting but concecration

I 100 % agree with you . I think in her case she was breastfeeding so she couldn’t stop eating . And back then they didn’t know about maybe do like a raw food fast or things like that . I want to do a video about this because when I was breastfeeding there was nothing out there to show you how to still fast while breastfeeding .

Biblical fasting is basically from food and though abstaining from distractions and false comforts is part of the process of sanctification it’s not fasting

@MeghanReid fasting is just opening your eyes to the spiritual realm. What you see is what you rebuke (break covenants, ancestral curses/alters) and get your freedom. It doesn't mean anything bad but you have to fight in the spirit.

Blown away by your response about pastors like Morris and how folks should not judge him. This is not Jimmy Swaggert stuff, these were kids. She was 12 years old.
