Love that Inart is forcing Hot Toys to up their game. The competition makes them both better!

Look up Don Bluth. He left Disney in the late 70s and ultimately became one of the main reasons why Disney exploded in the 90s - he created 'The Land Before Time' and it absolutely kicked Disney's arsh in the 80s, which forced them to realize they now had competition.

When he was caressing the hair it freaked me out a bit XD, it' so realistic it almost felt like he was crossing a line there XD

It's honestly mind-blowing that even completely zoomed in the costume still looks so incredible! Such a testament to the skill of the artists/artisans making these models that they can get such perfect details at that scale.

I was hoping to hear how they actually achieve hyperrealistic detail like the title said! As in sculpting and stuff. Still cool!

Its good InArt is giving Hot Toys a healthy competition in the 1/6th scale world of collecting. Been an avid Hot Toys collector since 2008 and looking at InArt they are definitely the new kid on the block to give some good competition and win some Hot Toys collectors with some of the IP they are allowed to produce over Hot Toys. Best of both world.
@halfvader80152 ай бұрын
Oh Hot Toys loves it too. Sure they're doing hair, but they've raised their prices way up even for simple/standard figures as a result.

I think this is the first time I've seen a doll/action figure give me uncanny valley sensations before. They are so detailed that they could be professionally used in film for miniature shots.

For brainstorming: Would / can "The walking Dune" Or "Dune Dead" be a thing.... Imagine the possibilities. Especially when you include the 1984 movie and the H.R. Giger (inventer of Alien) involvement in the earlier Dune movie project, that hasn't been realized. 😈😈

The title is misleading because it’s physically impossible for a human sculptor to produce that level of detail at that scale. The exact proportions and likeness is achieved by using 3-D scans and 3-D prints.
