CAn I buy this for someone else? Also want to be clear, when you say "members" does this mean you have to keep paying for the courses?

Blender Geometry Node is side eyeing you

Heh, I would choose geo nodes for the project if they had the same level of integration with UE as Houdini. I hope Blender devs will implement this in the future. The ability to change the parameters of your systems right inside an engine is crazy powerful!

@@tojynick I'm curious how the generated assets work. After you generate a procedural building, does it essentially act the same way as a static mesh in your level? When you package the project, there's no Houdini code that ships with that right? It's only used for the creation process? Thanks!

@@vladdimitrov819 Yeah exactly, it acts as a static mesh with no Houdini code whatsoever!

@@vladdimitrov819 Yeah exactly! Generation happens only in the editor and it produces just a static mesh. Houdini cannot generate stuff in runtime, so its code is not shipped with with the packed project. It's mostly useful for game designers and environments artists imo. With procedural tools, they can create a blockout of the scene and quickly generate quite detailed geometry of out it.

Working in Houdini seems like a pain in the ass if you're not privy to node based programming. Maya/Blender is already brain splittingly hard most of the time.

I develop games by 5 years neve make money, capital match, tic tac toe again, no one play my games, this are not true, to make money with games you need milions to expend in marketing, ads etc.

Sorry my friend, he said "make millons of BUILDINGS", or modeling millons of HOUSES in a 3d software, I undestand your situation, but that was not the point of this video.
