Since I started watching this channel a few days ago, I've never been more sure about wanting to become an animator. Thank you for your content Stylized Station.

Easy way is paying for rendering, you need to render a video even when you are not at your desk. The amount of people I know who do not charge for rendering even if its all night is crazy.

One way to get the geometry that eludes you when you’re weight painting is to pose it and then paint the stuff that’s left behind while the figure is still posed. You’ll see the geometry snap to place and it’s pretty satisfying

This was a good idea. Trying to recreate the anime effects in a 3D package but in the end it still looks 2D. Would love to see how you process it to actually make it look like 3D and more believable. Thanks for the video !

Blender is inevitably going to take over the industry, when I first got into Blender we were on version 2.41 or so and everyone said back then Blender would never replace 3ds Max, Maya or even be comparable. Yet look how far we've come! It may take another decade, but eventually it will become stupid not to use Blender as EVERYTHING is being designed for Blender now because it's Open Source and thus defaults to the 3d App standard everyone knows and uses.

The entire time I’ve been waiting for the characters to look like Tanjiro and Rei (don’t mind me I completely forgot how to spell their name-) 😭😭😭 it’s like the first thing I do when I make animations🥲 ALTHOUGH I WAITED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE VIDEO AND THE RESULT WAS AWESOME!!!

you should use Krita instead of photoshop. Great video!

It better not that’s not the point of blender. The point of blender is for 3-D animation and 3-D modeling.

I use photoshop for impact frames too! its my holy grail. so many shortcuts you can take using the magic wand too. and once you're done, you quick select all of the white parts with the wand tool (or all of the black parts, then hit "L", right click, inverse select) and then ctrl+c, ctrl+v, should duplicate it on a new layer, then go filters>blurs>gaussian blur to add glow (helps to select the blurred layer and make the blending style "screen"). 53:53 you did a technique im super familiar with! the cone shrinking down to the cylinder and then bursting in the last 2 frames, feels really powerful. You probably know them, but @dillongoo is a 3d animator who does impact frames in their anime "cat version" fights. ive actually referenced some of their work.
