I wish there wasn't as many issues holding back LGBQT+ from being able to foster and adopt. There are so many children in the system that could use a solid homes. One of my biggest issues with the abortion issues is the fact that we are ignoring the issue of what happens after.

Wish there had been any discussion of trans people having biological children because many trans couples have compatible assigned sexes and can have their own biological children.

7:54 I think it's important for the list of ways LGBTQ+ people can become parents to explicitly include "the conventional way!" Plenty of queer dynamics involve (at least) two fertile people with complementary gametes. In most places we're (thankfully) past the era of mandatory trans sterilization, and bi/pan people don't spontaneously lose that identity if they happen to land in a superficially "straight" relationship.

I'll posit that kids of LGBT+ couples might have better social skills because same sex couples can be more *deliberate* in their family planning - i.e. no "happy accidents". Thus, a same sex couple can be better prepared to allocate the necessary time and resources for ideal parenting.

The amount of bigotry and bias towards LGBTQ+ identifying parents never ceases to disgusts me. There's absolutely no one way for a family to look and the identification or orientation of the parents shouldn't matter. What should be in forefront is the care and love a child receives. Family is what we make with those we love.

Families come great variety. Two loving, stable, and supportive parents is a societal rarity, so society should embrace LGBTQ+ families. Too many kiddos grind through the IV-E system without ever having a safe or loving home.
