So honored that our ⚡SQUAD⚡ was a part of this series! It is imperative that we have a seat at the table in the AI revolution. We hope that you join us in making sure queer people are part of that discussion!! Thank you Brave Spaces :)

Great series. I have worked in tech since the 90s. From my experience, it has always been cis male dominated, even when it wasn't white or straight. The AI Seinfeld spoof, the Microsoft chat bot that went immediately racist a few years ago, and many other examples are proof we need more diversity in tech. Several of the few comments already here are proof that there is still a large population that doesn't understand why, or does understand but doesn't want change because it affects their position of power. Why change the system when it's working FOR you? It's the people the system is working AGAINST that can shape a different path forward.

I dunno, seems like people who don’t fit their message want those jobs? There’s a big push for hiring people that fit the message today… so if they aren’t there safe to say they don’t want to be…. But tech is messaged up the arse today so there’s that….

It takes presence to raise a human, and it takes presence to raise up AI. When we do get around to mothering an AGI, queer people are the most well qualified to teach them how to love themself and other intelligences like us. Period.

What if we used AI as a score card for content on websites, like a chatFacebook, chatTwitterX, and chatReddit. The AI would only be trained on that website's content. And there could be a standard set of questions you ask the AI. Could track the progress of the content via the AI to see where things go.

The more voices we can get to give AI a fuller perspective on how our world operates, the better our world will be. This will define how the future looks back on history and the only way the true story gets told is if everyone gets a word in. Otherwise we'll just repeat how much history was forgotten because it didn't center on the majority.

I've posted this on other channels the dangers of A .I. as a working Artist as well! I'm an illustrator and am losing commission's because of A.I. This is just the beginning of the dehumanization of the Arts across the entire spectrum of our various forms of creative human creation. 🤘☺️🖖🇨🇦

Can we maybe address how AI steals from artists and is far more likely to put an LGBTQ artist out of work instead of getting them a job? I am so tired of people thinking AI is so good when it’s theft in its current form. They can either compensate the artists whose work they use or they can get out tbh.

Its worse then they are talking about. Ai models are often intentionally trained by wytsups to discriminate

It's sad that you deny the empirical reality of how people are being chosen for these positions. 4:41 Science denial is a big problem on the internet.

@pepperypeppers2755 This isn't hate. You guys always feel like it's hate, but it's not I say this because you are being greedy & want control & you have rights just like everyone else, what more do you want & you guys don't make sense

@@Scorpio4890 Rights huh, that's why LGBTQIA+ folks are criminalized, discriminated, and killed everyday around the world for their identities. We have so maaaany rights. Maybe actually listen and talk to folks in these communities, instead of making assumptions about our lived realities. It's not greedy to ask for rights and protections, that's the bare minimum.

@sapphicsiren seeing this tell me we are done reasoning & this is why we need more logical thinking & knowledgeable people but Less emotional thinking Because it blinds people's judgment & and yes, it is greedy to ask for more when you guys already have rights. You can't force, shame every to expect you
