I’ve watched this like 5 times now. Poults is so good. Marcus Armitage with the “wah-ta” and 163mph ball speed with a hybrid????? And can someone please tell me how guys like Paul Casey averages 174mph ball speed with that smooth swing? Averages…that means he gets over that number half the time. With that smooth ass swing. I would love to learn. Please explain to me the physics of it.

I finished a complete swing rebuild on my own in early October of 2021. Took me 1.5 years but I’ve gone from 26 to 9.8, not even joking. Read up and taught myself different approaches to the fundamentals and how to build a great effortless swing and I got there. It’s nice to have finally found my swing and not need to think about literally anything anymore, because I trust it, I know it is on plane and it works, I love it. I can absolutely relate.

I don't know if that necessarily tracks for all of them. Rory was FULL of swing thoughts recently with a coach change and trying to alter his delivery, so he's clearly trying something new right now. Most guys will have a couple core thoughts unless they are just playing lights out. But yeah, anyone with more than a couple will usually be in trouble on the course.

Swing thoughts are a misnomer. Pros during their swing do not think of any thoughts to improve their execution. All thoughts regarding their swing or what they want to accomplish with their shot are done prior to the swing. Once the swing commences, the only thing going through their minds is to fully execute their swing in the same manner they have practiced before their round started.
