there's one thing you overlooked in terms of defenses, layout, and location... Caelid, forget the castle, it could be a wooden shack with a paper door and it'd still be impregnable, because there's no way in hell any medieval force is getting through Caelid, it has a rot swamp, A ROT SWAMP! The bug people, the dinosaur dogs, the- *shudders* the B I R D S, there's no one insane enough to even attempt to traverse the hellscape that is Florida 2; Electric Boogaloo in the first place! Check out the first video of this series where I lay out the ground rules for these reviews, I approach this from a real life prospective, meaning, no fictional monsters, and no fictional rot, if I took the whole elden ring world into consideration, there will be no reason for a castle to be there in the first place, giants, flying creatures, and demigods, a castle won't stand a chance.

@@Rrash_VA I'm aware, It was more of a funny "Caelid bad" comment, it wasn't intended as an actual criticism of the video, though now that you bring it up, I will disagree with the notion that castles are pointless in Elden Ring, all you need to do is to take a look at Leyndell, there's a huge example of why dragons aren't hot shit right smack dab in the middle, that was one of the most powerful dragons in history btw, and Leyndell was also the scene of the largest war of the Shattering, and yet Leyndell's walls were never breached, sure the enemies might have giants and demigods, but so do the people in the castle, standing on top of the gate of Redmane is a giant after all. Having said all that, I like these videos, actually analysing the castles as castles and not just as dungeons is cool, and based on the edits of the previous ones, I've been lead to believe the next will either be the shaded castle or castle sol, both of which I despise from a gameplay standpoint, can't wait!

In the future you should really credit videos you take clips from. I see the utility of using those clips from epic history’s video but you should at least link the original in the description
