I love the feeling of getting a new borderless or secret lair art for my guff planeswalker deck. Just went through and counted, we’re down to 36 cards to replace. It’s fun. It’s my dorky little “art” project. Like…other peoples art, but still.

Secret Lair cards certainly allow you to "Get Creative!" with the new art treatments!

I feel like Secret Lairs are both a Bane and a Boon for the community. They are a great way to bring needed reprints without awkwardly shoving them in a normal set (though that would be cool to), however using the same cards over and over or cards that never had any value to begin with does end up being a little disappointing. I do believe these "Commander Deck Seed" Lairs are the future, I just wish Wizards would make 7-10 card lairs a common occurrence, secondary market be damned. Get Creative!

I find the alt art Secret Lairs are not particularly worth it (re: $), but unique stuff like the DnD or Streetfighter secret lairs are typically good value. The Secret Lair decks (Angels, Cats and Dogs) are definitely good resale value.
