Honestly like the shoe overall. The only part where I felt like they could've toned down the aging was the yellowing on the plastic eyelids. If the yellowing was less dramatic it would've been better imo.

I totally agree with you, the black pair was a home run, these kinda fall short, I would’ve instead liked Virgil to do the black tongue fire red 5s, I just prefer the blocking on the black tongues, I’ve always felt that black midsole on the metallics be way too dominating.

Can't agree w you guys on this one. I hated the black ones bc they look like they need lotion, just ashy. These look super crisp. And TBH they don't look "aged" at all. I will say I like the sample pair the best with the cream midsole. If I cop that's the 1st thing Im doing is painting the midsole. BTW you're right about the shark teeth they're my fav part of the J5 too.

Always gotta do the conversion, so many $500 shoes that are $2000 in a 13. Its not even the same price range often. This is artifical scarcity on top of actual scarcity. Nike 100% needs to make more 13s. And more 7s. Death to the “money size” all sizes should be in the same price range. Thats how it was before the rise of the hypebeast, you could grab the last 8.5 and trade it for whatever size u were straight up. I take more L’s just for wearing a 13, and thats bullshit. Its not an uncommon size. I remember talking to the stores back then and often a “full size run” at a local footlocker or finish line was only 1-2 pairs of 13s. And that worked when it was only sneakerheads buying. Now theres a massive fight for the 7s and 13s cause way more sizes worn than made. Thats not a deisgn, thats an error nike made. We gotta help them change this. All the heads i watch on youtube are 13 too, maybe start a movement. They showing all the ladies love by making exclusives and retros they never got in small sizes, but what about all the big dudes that spend our whole lives never getting what we want new. Thrift stores are gold for big sizes, 2xls and 13s for days, my closet is full of vintage. but online raffles are bleak. Loss after loss, and half those would be wins if i was entering for 9s or 10.5s. And nothing better then finally hitting a good pair, just to find out it runs a lil small, and theres no 13.5 ever made, and most pairs dont go to 14 which is often too big in that situation. And what about all the pairs that only go to 12??? Like the guava 92s? Wtf was that? Union had 13s why didnt nike? After 200 fire exclusives for women, its clear nike it operating on guilt at this point, you got the ladies into sneakers, they spending good money, they loyal, and you hit them off with more pairs than could be worn in a year, now can you show larger peoples some love? Retro some of the best clothes and shoes in sizes they never came in.

The only con to these AJ5 off white sail is that if u wear them with jeans the upper ankle part of the shoe tends to snatch the material of your jeans on them due to friction & the material of the shoe.The edges of the top of the shoe gets fuzzed up with denim material.Everytime I take them off I find myself picking off the denim material of my jeans off of them.Other than that it’s a dope shoe👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
