All superheroes take an enormous amount of punishment, but Punisher's brain must be mush from all the damage it takes. I can suspend disbelief that Daredevil can get cut like swiss cheese and still come back, but a guy getting shot through his brain just to go on a rampage where he takes multiple concussive blasts, shovels, windows, etc to the head is just unreal. Either he has an adamantium skull or he his brain is all scar tissue.

It's better than that. The limp intentionally fades in fight scenes, as it was mostly emphasized in his persona as frank castiglioni. Because he doesn't like the idea of showing weakness. In other words, the limp is a part of his cover up. Which is why you don't see it when he's pissed. At least thats what some people say.

@@kenetmendoza2157 cus sometimes one isn't enough. A good martial artist shouldn't limit themselves to one style. That's how mma came to be. Cherry picking the most suitable techniques and methodologies from various styles makes for a more rounded and complete fighter. In the Punishers case he's a polymath so he's the kind of guy that would be constantly studying and practicing different fighting styles or any field or craft that would help on his missions.

@@tzekmichtaka7528 I mean, being realistic, he only needs one. He doesn't need karate, or kung fu, or any other. The one he knows covers what he needs. In the scenarios he's faced with, any of the ones above don't cut it. Mma is a sport, not so martial anymore, it became a sport, and a show. In terms of effectiveness, what he knows is best. Maybe he could use some of the workout benefits of other martial arts, but he really only needs a realistic and practical martial art.

@@kenetmendoza2157 certainly. Studying multiple styles just makes for better training like u said and helps develop ur fighting skills in general. If u wanted to only use one preferred style, practicing other styles and forms will make u better at that one style. Of course go for the most simple, straightforward and most effective techniques but other styles and forms can help develop skills and physical as well as mental conditioning. Classic Punisher, when one technique or strategy didn't work he'd go back into his tool box and try something else.

The problem with Punisher, of his own series is that he thinks he is not a super, different in Daredevil that he rarely gets in the hands more because the situation forces him already in his series I counted in my hands how many times the script helped him because he goes among the enemies a random enemy would have defeated him, but of course Frank will be able to stand at the end. As for the Punisher of Daredevil, he’s a lot more Punisher in my opinion, reminding you of the strategic part of the comics.

I would second this if it wouldn't be so obvious. I played the (chronological) first 3 games and in two of them in were four. Boxing, "capoeira" some kind of wrestling/sumo mix and a streetfighting brawler style. Unfortunately, the styles are not that near to real life styles. It's fun in the games but the only effective style in real life would be boxing, I'm the game rush, style. That's just my opinion and I'm open for discussion 😊

Aside from Marine CQC, wished he could’ve also trained in Kali/FMA as well as Krav Maga and Systema though they are all basically the same. Muay Thai and Boxing for some striking and a little bit of BJJ for some ground game. Kinda hated it in the comics where it’s repeatedly said that he trains in some Shorin Ryu Karate and Hwa Rang Do which I think is kinda out of character with the Punisher’s fight style. Granted when the Punisher first came out Kali, Krav Maga, BJJ weren’t that popular back then and all the craze was about karate and kung fu (I could be wrong here). So yeah Netflix Punisher fightstyle is a fresh take for me. Leave that spinning roundhouse kick to Daredevil and Cap America. We only need one kick.. the pu-pu-pu-pu-push kick!

Some of these it feels like he was scared to give him full points on. Every character thus far has shown their skills against less skilled opponents. Castle has one against bigger, faster, and stronger enemies with greater numbers. A fantastic example of how it takes one mistake for the biggest threats to crumble to ash. DD is an example of this. He has better martial arts skills, and he has super powers, but he still has lost to him more than once.

Godzillarex Yeah but he is a pretty good fighter. Not only that but he has grenades and guns and the knowledge on how to use them most efficiently. Danny can block bullets with his fists but how many bullets at one time? And daredevil can flip around and try dodging them but is he really gonna dodge them all? With Frank Castle at his 100% he is definitely gonna get at least one bullet in him. No one is nearly as effective in a fight with a bullet hole in them.

If you get criticized for saying he’s lacking as a martial artist it’s probably due to the fact that for the punisher only one thing counts: how can I finish the job? Nothing flashy or stylish, whatever gets the job done. So from that perspective he scores pretty much 100, but of course rated against pure martial artists (and cinematic effects) he scores lower.

It's just a symbiote, or alien symbiote. It only becomes Venom when it is bonded with Eddie Brock. If it bonds with anyone else, they are something different. The comics have recently referred to it as the "Venom symbiote" to make it easier to newcomers, but as a die hard fan of the original Spider-Man comics Venom debuted it, trust me it makes more sense to call it symbiote.
