How good are these CHEAP cine lenses for the SIGMA fp and LUMIX S5iix?

Another great video man. Loving the new look on the highlights. The only lens from that set that caught my attention is the 25mm but its a softy and I was wondering how soft is it at T2.5 🤔

The 25 is definitely the most unique. At 2.5 and 2.8 it’s pretty decently sharp. Not perfect but definitely not needing diffusion

I've sometimes wondered whether these lenses would suit a certain style of stills photography? I saw a Sigma challenge a while back where they challenged a couple of pros to use lenses in their range, and that range included a couple of the Cinema lenses that Sigma produce. Ever since then I've kind of been curious about it...

I have a question for you all regarding these cine lenses. On the 35mm I have no issue pulling focus, but on the 50mm I notice because of the lens moving slightly causes air to push against any circular filter on the end. The result is a popping sound / movement against the filter. It is incredibly annoying. I emailed 7artisans about it, no response for 2 weeks. I understand that a matte box and everything is designed for cinema... but I have seen people pulling focus on these with circular filters on them... including myself with the 35.. Does anyone else have this issue, am I missing something obvious here?

That should not be a thing. Are you within your return window? I would return it and buy a new copy if possible

@@j.b.7133 have you checked out their spectrum lenses? They are a slower aperture, but are pretty decent.
