The Dubs already had a player better than Kai; his name is James Wiseman. They traded him because he wasn't a fit for their system and had low basketball feel primarily relying on his athleticism. He was late on defensive rotations and was a blow by for Gs/Fs on the perimeter switches. Watching Soto's game - he's worse than Wiseman coming out of a shortened college season at Memphis.

If i can get a chance to surround CP3 with players like Saric, Sotto, Kuminga and Moddy/Quinones, i am taking it. That unit would be so much better with someone like CP3 as the primary ball handler, the bench problems would be solved. If Coach Kerr can improve their Chemistry this group has the potential to be one of the best units coming of the bench in the entire League. Judging by how good CP3 is with young players, its more of a probability than a possibility.

Therefore, as Kai grows older and meets his target weight of 270 pounds BMI of 22, and borderline weight before obesity, he will be a powerhouse. His father Irvin Sotto is a retired basketball player, 6'7", and weighs almost 300 pounds due to inactivity, there is no doubt Kai will be a powerhouse soon. The team that will draft Kai will be a steal for them. He has the skills to do it.

Kai IS NOT a great fit for the dubs. They would waste Kai's talents benching him between now and the next 4 years or whenever Curry retires. Just look at Wiseman. Dub's aren't that appealing for rookies since they're focused on a championship and having vet that can contribute now. They're not focused on developing younger players 2-3 years from now. Kuminga barely plays already, Kai would be deep in the bench. Kai would be better for with the Sacramento Kings. They are younger, they have room for development of younger players and they have as similar style of basketball to the Dubs, even more efficient in offense.
