Really hoping cars with high speed stats can become meta relevant. Whether that be from a balance patch or from player getting good at high speed stat combos. Even if it’s only for certain tracks like sky high sundae or rock rock mountain.

So generally, as long as your using a kart and wheel that offers maximum speed you would want a glider that offers an increase to acceleration and if the glider does change your stats that's one of the things it does or otherwise it's zero across the board. And there are multiple karts that offer maximum speed, and two of the same tire but different colors (black or purple) that add to your speed stat. Wario, Dry Bowser, Bowser, Morton, and Mii (H) are the "heavy" catagory but it seems they offer the same speed situation with seemingly the only relevant difference being handling, Wario and Dry Bowser have 2.75 versus Bowser, Morton, and Mii(H) having 2.5 and i don't know if weight is relevant but your looking at 4.25 versus 4.5 respectively.
