I rode this board for 4 years, till it broke was an amazing board for the price. Upgraded the bearings that’s all the maintenance I ever did. went on many steep downhills remained very stable. After a while through some rain rides the grip was almost completely rubbed of by year 3.

Did you end up getting better bearings? And if so, which ones and how much were they?
@TommyDrone3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I personally like Super Reds the best. However, the Slicks are half the price and I like them a Lot too. Here's the video of how well they work. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZ-yZaCwjcp1d68

I am 215 lbs, and not sure if this will hold me causing the board to flex too much. :(

You can't spin a wheel and expect that the amount of time it takes to stop spinning means it's a better bearing. That "test" doesnt put the wheel under weight, it doesnt account for the wearing in of the lubricant on the bearings, or the fact that that's not the use case for a skateboard bearing. Unless it feels like the wheels aren't turning while youre riding, which doesn't seem so, your bearings are fine. You wouldn't spin the rotors of a drone and say it doesnt fly fast because they aren't spinning like a pinwheel

so your skating partner was way out in front in some of those shots, seems like a faster board?

Yes she is riding an Atom Longboard and I think I may like her board more. Both boards are different. The Atom Longobard has awesome wheels, and bearings and the board is stiffer and also an excellent board. I have the link for you to check it out in the description area of this video. I am planning to make a video of the Atom Longboard too. Both the Hana and the Atom are great. However, I think the wheels are better on the Atom and I do like the Atom a lot. You may like it too.

Sorry I’m super late, but in your opinion, do you think replacing the bearings with their slick ABEC 9’s would improve the overall smoothness and speed?
@TommyDrone3 жыл бұрын
Yes, the stock bearings are not that good. Get the slicks bearings from Amazon, they're cheaper. The bearings work great. It makes the ride super smooth and faster much faster. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZ-yZaCwjcp1d68

I like it. Switch the berrrings. The wheels 90mm may work.

Did you ever get the white wave longboard? if so is it any better?
@TommyDrone3 жыл бұрын
Ok I have another board called the Atom. It's also good. You see my daughter riding that board in this video. The Trucks on the Atom are not as good as the Magneto. The Whitewave trucks look to me to be about the same as the Atom so I think Magneto Hana has better trucks. However, the bearings I had to upgrade to the slicks for 15 dollars more see my vid review on those. For the price you get what you pay for. Personally I think the Magneto Hana looks better than the White wave. But as I shared in the video, the Whitewave was sold out, and if they were in stock I'd probaby be riding that board right now. I will say I do like the Hana board.

Very well. It looks great and is still one of my favorite boards. I upgraded the bearings the wheels are quiet. It is super comfortable.

One more question for ya..because the Hana is a great looking board i am just about convinced this is my board, but could you put the Glider wheels on it? I see bearings and wheels are on their site, but will they fit the trucks on the Hana? Would be a cool combo!
@scottmouse19212 жыл бұрын
Update! According to the folks from Magneto you can put the Glider wheels on the cruser, and Twin!

Had you had any skateboard experience prior to buying this? I rode a standard skateboard once and wiped out trying to ride a ramp. And at 53yr old it hurt.. Oh, and how much do you weigh, if you don't mind me asking?
@TommyDrone4 жыл бұрын
I turn 53 next year and have arthritis in my knees really bad. However in my prime I used to skate a Lot. I did half pipe and skate park trick back in the day. Getting back on was strange at first, but I quickly picked it up. I weight 230 lbs. I use to ride the Tony Hawk classic cruiser. I fell a Lot when I was younger and now I ride a little more cautiously. For you I recommend an Electric Skateboard. It is way easier to ride. Check out my AE2 AEBoard unboxing. I think you would like that board.
