Whenever you're cruising at a chill speed and you see a corner that seems a bit too sharp, but you decide to just send it and you nail it perfectly. That's what i love about carvey Longboards, that feeling is so fucking sick 🤙

The difference is truck angles and types of bushings has been the biggest learning curve at the start of my downhill / free ride adventure so far.

Totally! It's another rabbit hole to dive into. I still barely know anything compared to downhill/ldp ppl

What’s good, Billy?! Got a new electric shortboard coming in a couple days so this is perfect timing to figure out how to make it carve! Ever since I started onewheel, all the other boards feel much less responsive, so definitely can use these tips.

@@concrete-waves got a tynee mini 3! Moved to Boston and found that my old electric longboard that I used when living in the middle of nowhere got super inconvenient to drag with me when riding buses and the subway, so trying out something way smaller! We’ll see how it goes! Now the biggest challenge is going to be bringing it with me inside of stores and not getting yelled at lol
@concrete-waves8 ай бұрын
@@audreybertin Niceee! Ya that makes sense. It looks similar to the meepo mini with double barrel bushings in the front. I swapped mine for riptide barrel and cones... which helped a bit. But the kicktail will prob be the move for smaller spaces. I don't think you'll have a problem getting yelled at haha 🤞

I like having a bit of rattle off my front washer. I’ve thought about trying different bushings, but then I remember that I don’t want another rabbit hole to go down 🤣✌️

Switching my standard paris bushings for the orange orangatang knuckles was the best decision I ever made. Carving is super snappy with quick turns on my tan tien, and it's super easy to carve into a check or slide now.

Nioceee thanks for sharing this. The tan tien is so solid - it was my first loaded board about 10 yrs ago and it's still going strong

Do you have any tips to learn how to powerslide? I can do it pretty easily with a surfskate, but with normal skateboards and longboards, I find it difficult to slide the back of the board out in front of me. Keep it up with the videos! Love seeing an update when you post.
@concrete-waves8 ай бұрын
I made this video a while back: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWXUeJWVpbGWfas But I intend to update it since it's not too detailed. It'll make your life a lot easier if you have a harder wheel with a small contact patch & round lips. Normal skateboards shouldn't take much to powerslide since the wheels are typically hard/small. You kind of want to sway your front arm, so that it opens up your shoulders and your hips follow... Hard to explain over text! Hope this helps a bit. Glad you're enjoying the vids. Appreciate the support 🙌
