This is a 1.8. Bannerlord in Depth Analysis of the Horse Archer from the Aserai: The Mameluke heavy Cavalry.
This video is part of a Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Playlist where we analyze each unit not only based on their equipment but also on statistics taken after intensive testings.

crossbows in general have been nerfed quite hevely in 1.8. i was playing a Vlandian campaing with increased difficulty before the patch and i was having a good time. after it was pretty awful. Vlandia definately felt 1.8. and not in a good way.

that small shield does wonder and dreams more then Empire archers 🤣🤣🤣 Empire archers need a small shield like this or another quiver.

Seeing the Mamlukes' poor performance is making me cry. Definitely not like their descendants, who are OP. 😭 It's like the Khanate is having their revenge in Bannerlord against their disgrace in Warband. And why are all of the rulers seem like cheapskates? 💢😠😭 And it sucks that the crossbowmen got badly nerfed. It's like someone has it out for Vlandia/Swadia and wants to make them as mediocre as possible. *(Looks at Derthert.)* 😭

Yeah, I agree. It's pretty dog shit. I think it got buffed in 1.0 though.
