Great review! My B-1 has the optional UTC module which adds an extra analog face. Now THAT'S a tank. It has me doing forearm exercises just to keep keep my wrist thick enough!

Nice review. Not had any issues with analogue and digital time being different on mine so might be worth getting Breitling to take a look. In terms of the bracelet, i've wearing it on a rubber strap negates all the issues and makes it wear smaller. I think considering the age of this watch it still looks pretty good, especially once off the bracelet. I think the Japanese brands have all the great tech for these types of watches but don't look as good.

@@stevepapa The Breitling rubber straps work really well with this. I have mine on the rubber mesh and it complements well. Suggest getting the version on the clasp. General tropic and waffle straps also look good on this.

The case back is f awesome each piece is individual and mimics a jet engine turbine

The B-1 is the best pilot watch ever. What a shame Breitling stupidly discontinued it long years ago ! I wear mine on a strap cause I don't like the heavy and shining Fighter bracelet. Did you notice that the slide rule doesn't turn at the same speed as the bezel ?

@vzmax I assume the gearing of the bezel is off if it doesn't turn at the same pace!

@@stevepapa No, it is normal ! The bezel drives the slide rule through a little pinion which is under the side cover. Every B-1 act like that. Pace is different cause gears are different.

The SuperQuartz A78362 was produced from 2002 to 2006 and was the last of the B-1 models.

The Thickness Papa ,? You said it yourself " you can hear the alarms" yes well ,its because of the Thickness, so its an echo chamber, thats where the lovely sound comes from .i hated that watch til seeing this,now i think it all makes sense .

It reminds me of my Tissot T-Touch II. That Breitling is a great timepiece but $4,000? For a quartz? That's a hard pill to swallow for sure

I love the ani-digi designs that Breitling produced from the Aerospace, The emergency and the B1. I think they are massively underrated and are true icons of the industry

Your display is not illuminating, should when you press in the crown. Might be worth a service 👍🏻

I think it may be an issue with my camera settings or lighting! In the real world the displays light up fine but thank you for your comment!
