Zekrom has one of the coolest designs of any Pokémon. You didn't showcase it, but Fusion Bolt has one of the best animations (when super-charged, that is). If there was a god of thunder in Pokémon, Zekrom does it for me.

You know, as someone interested in philosophy, i find Zekroms career quite poetic. Just as the ideals it represents it was strong at the beginning, then when power creep settled in, it struggled and fell to the wayside until Gen 8 put a check on it, where it again begin to thrive until the DLCs brought the power creep again. It mirrors the nature of ideals perfectly. They are very strong and tempting when first proposed, then begin to struggle with reality, especially when power is involved, and after power is put under restrictions, they can be truly realized.

Quagsire got one of the best typing in the game which is Water/Ground, and Quag got 2 great abilities, Water Absorb to counter Kyogre and Unaware to counter Setup Sweepers. it can also learn Recover, one of the best recovery moves

@@sleazymeezy cool, you know what? Primal Groudon has 160 defense stat. And I just checked the damage output on damage calculator. Zekrom even after having a choice band/1 Dragon dance can only dish out like 92% max for non EVs invested Groudon. Without DD/CB at best does like 61.5% and doesn't OHKO even after stealth rock and 2 layers of spikes. All of this supports my initial point that "Groudon can survive one Hit"

@@moonemoji101 If zekrom got earthquake i in gen 7, ts most common set would be: Zekrom @ Groundium Z Ability: Teravolt EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Bolt Strike - Hone Claws - Dragon Claw - Earthquake after a +1 boost from hone claws it has a 60% chance to 1KO +1 252 Atk Teravolt Zekrom Tectonic Rage (180 BP) vs. 252 HP / 56+ Def Groudon-Primal: 380-448 (94 - 110.8%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO And if you ran adamant over jolly, then you get a 100% 1HKO

I didnt let my hopes get built up, it’s been clear that since the switch to the 3DS the games aren’t made for people who grew up with them. The current games director themselves stated in an interview they want to make them accessible as possible. The games will be good for the target audience, which unfortunately is no longer people like me😢

Teravolt and Turboblaze should boost electric and fire moves by 30% respectively. Also I think Turboblaze should clear hazards on it's side/terrains , and Teravolt should clear room effects / weather.

I had a similar idea but more along the lines turbo blaze and terravolt boosting fire electric type moves by 20% but also boosts fire electric type moves by 50% instead of 20% if the Pokémon with the ability is black Kyurem/White Kyurem

One of the few physical Electric types that actually gets a strong physical Electric STAB move that isn't Wild Charge. Seriously Gamefreak, give Bolt Strike, Volt Tackle, Bolt Beak, Aura Wheel and Plasma Fists to Zebstrika, Electivire and Luxray!

An inherent lack of busted mons such as Primal Groudon and Xerneas in SS restricted, however zacian sadly bodies it. If zacian somehow gets a nerf in the future Zekrom might get more usage, as it's one of the best restricted electric types and Kyogre is back to being top dog along with zacian. If they do a worlds style tournament I wouldn't be surprised if zacveltal, kyoveltal, and zacogre cores popped up and let zekrom start popping off against some of the best restricted choices.
