Guy here. If you’re not being yourself when getting to know someone and they like the person you’ve pretended to be they’ll only continue expecting the character you put on. Guys and girl you tubers are giving different advice, but the only advice should be to throw away gender expectations and be yourself. If you like someone no matter your gender you should approach or contact them when you feel like it. Not make them wait. If you made me wait when I know you weren’t that busy I’d assume you just weren’t interested. Just looking for attention. Everyone’s on their phones these days. I don't know anyone, who likes to get stringed along. All these mind games just seem like a waste of time and when I'm rejected I loose interest fast. Ladies, this is the WORST advice you'll ever hear on a youtube video. Only a simp would "fall" and only partially for you. It's true we appreciate looks, just as you girls do. We , men, know this little game. We've known it for ages. When you play "hard to get" you only loom like a spoiled brat, you either like us or you don't, but playing "hard to get" will only hurt your chances with the man you like because he will see you as: A. You just either love them and want to be with them, or you don't. But "not needing someone" WORKS BOTH WAYS, so if you don't need me, eventually will make me say '"I don't need you" either, I can still live by myself as an kndependent person. Alright let's make this clear : We don't want to compete for you. Too many women have played us and made us wait for no reason, kept us around for conversations or free dates even tho they had NO INTEREST in us. Most guys don't want to jump through hoops for a women, especially if that women is known to have been passed around and easy in the past. If you really want guys to be crazy about you, be easy with them and really hard to approach from everyone else. Don't have sex until commitement is established, this way you'll filter out most of those who only wants sex. Show interest, send the first message from time to time. We don't want it to go one way and . If a guy tells you that he wants to pay, let him be the men. If I didn't feel he was for me I would offer to pay half. I have only been on one real date and he paid for everything and it felt amazing. I had never experienced that before. I had a conversation with a random boy at a party and I never talk to anyone who isn’t my friend. However I Ended up sitting on a couch with this guy for about an hour talking careers, family, hobbies, pets cracking jokes and everything. Playing hard to get and making yourself a challenge to him, is bad advice period. It is playing games which will send an authentic man packing. What would interest me: Make positive eye contact. You don't have to beam a great big smile. Just look at him directly and show your interest in him and that you could be receptive to his advances. Us men want to be shown some kind of sign, no matter how subtle. The way you make eye contact can be the best way. Give him your undivided attention. Speak in a soft and non threatening and relaxed voice. I cannot emphasize tone of voice enough. Also being articulate shows that you are a thoughtful person. Well done, there's so many tips, techniques and tricks that it's sometimes hard to know where to start. But it's not rocket science to get your man shivering with ecstasy just by changing the way you talk. Too much work to gain interest of a man that most likely I won't fancy. I am more interested if I actually interested in man. I would like to love man but to fall in love with a man I should respect him, admire him and appreciate him. 95% of men I men can thick one box, just a few two. This video makes men seem shallow and callow. Are men really this simplistic? Call me Pollyanna, but I'd like to think men are deeper than the burning of their loins. Another video I watched on men said men resent and can't stand women who cry. Really? If a man cares about you, he should want to comfort you so you don't need tears in the first place.

This video should be taken with a grain of salt. It's great if you want to become some guy's bro. If a woman cries, of course men want to comfort her... However, some women do use tears in a way that cannot be called genuine. Using tears as a form of manipulation will built resentment. Also, if it's just too often. Guys generally are fixers, they want to fix things. When a woman cries, something is wrong and the guy not only wants to comfort her, he would want to fix the underlying issue. But if there is nothing that can be fixed, a guy cannot do anything and each new episode of crying just reinforces that sense of helplessness. The best way to find and keep a guy is to ditch all the emotional manipulation.

These tips sound like stoking a guys ego. It might just be me, but I’m always wary when people try to apeal to what would make me feel good. Saying something like, “I knew you would get the promotion”, only works if you were legitimately anticipating it. Not saying it applies to all guys, but the most attractive thing that I see, is authenticity, and transparency. The tips in this video would be better titled, how to trap a man. Texting back fast because you’re excited to talk to a guy does not come across badly if the guy is into you. And if you’re unsure if he likes you, maybe don’t respond to his first text of the day within 30 seconds. But responding within 1-2 minutes still appears rational and calm. Waiting 30min or longer doesn’t necessarily make things better. -A guy

These tips are great; but they just seem like they are deceptive and constantly trying to say and do the right thing. It said in the video to not be something you're not. However, some women may not be the type to do these types of things. If you have to constantly do these steps, you aren't being yourself... instead manipulating, with compliments and fake actions. If you can't just be yourself however you are, he isn't for you. Period.
