How Hard Are The Achievements in FlatOut UC?

A few months ago Steam updated FlatOut Ulitmate Carnage, converting into the Collector's edition and enabling achievements for it so today I want to see how hard is to get all of these achievements.

I do miss the FlatOut series but at least the spirit of FlatOut lives on in games like Trailout (which is the closest we'll ever get to a new FlatOut game) and Wreckfest (which was made by the devs who made FlatOut). IMO something like this is probably the best we can hope for for dead racing game franchises: have other developers make games inspired by those dead franchises (like how Night Runners is heavily inspired by the Tokyo Xtreme Racer series, for example).

you can cheese canal with chili by restarting through menu so you get a good ai spawn, hope for jill and lei to be in the last 6 places, curtis and lewis have fast cars but they're a disabled, and then you overtake on the first corner and even if they go past, first corner you get crash into them. chili is always faster in corners if you dont want to crash. for basketball, ski jump or high jump, high angle and nudging as soon as you launch, you can get thunder dunk on 10.

I remember doing these way back on the Xbox 360, i did every achievement, except one, since in the 360 version there were online achievements and people weren't playing that much online anymore. Those achievements were winning 20 rank matches of races, derbies and stunts, just missing the 20 stunts. Still good times back then.

gfwl is not that bad, you can still play multiplayer officially unlike fo2 where you need to replace gamespy's servers with openspy Plus it has more achievements since today's publisher of flatout so lazy that they didn't ported fouc multiplayer to steam's servers 9:09 pfff, easy. Just imagine dot in character's belly, like a center of a model. And just press button once(don't spam it) when this dot really close to water 10:09 very possible, but I don't know is it possible to hit 10 with thunder dunk. I will just repeat one of tips from loading screens: if you don't do aerobatics(don't move) while flying, you'll fly further 10:54 it's even harder on xbox 360

About basketball, you definitely can reach the 10, its just about getting the perfect nudge and air time, but usually its safer to go for the nines+dunk, 8+slam dunk and the sevens for 7+thunder

Stone skipping is a lot easier with the keyboard as it's very precise when hitting the control key just when you hit the water, much better than with a controller.

The trick to the Slam Dunk mini game is to nudge right when you eject from the car. For some reason it gives you a massive amount more height.

Basketball no10 is possible you have to leave character without control so he/she will not loose speed.

Ah yes my favorite KZbinr doing excruciatingly painful challenges again, my personal favorite. 😈 That achievement where you had to use the un-upgraded car was probably torture considering how much the AI spun you out but I admire your willingness to get to the end. I'd like to see more challenges like this, these are very interesting to watch in my opinion. Great video as always, props to you and Javi for pushing out another banger video!

The trick for height based stunt events, you have to nudge as soon as you launch your driver. That actually gives you extra upward boost.
