Instead of a bunch of smaller videos last year, I put all my trips together into 1 video and give you my thoughts throughout the video about my new boost and the problems I've had with it so far.

I’m not going to lie, that second over the bars trick had me laughing my ass off! Only because I’ve done it. Glad to see your sled is working well. Good thing you got a 22’ because 23’ is a shit show (well 22’ was too). I have no room to talk, I doubt I’ll even see my Shredder this year. Sucks because it’s already shaping up to be a great season. Oh well, I can’t complain I was able to snag a new turbo R Expert, but I was really looking forward to the Shredder. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing. Also, we are releasing new carbon fiber products al the time. Our slash tunnel support and rear bumper is pretty awesome. Thanks!

yea ive got a couple friends that ordered the shredders and wont get them til spring or after the season. sucks but that's the reality. If you guys are working on more carbon fiber products for the matryx chassis, shoot me an email cmcinemahd@gmail.com 👍

Glad you finally got your sled and got some miles on it. Got myself a matryx pro slash 165 n/a last year. I ride the I90 corridor for the most part. Would love to ride with ya sometime

Thank you!! They definitely get warm! Just have to pay attention to the temp and stop to get some snow on the cooler and get it to cool down. Wasn’t too bad but is definitely more noticeable then the axys chassis

youre gonna love it! axys Pro chassis to Axys chassis is a huge improvement and then Axys Chassis to Matryx Chassis is a big improvement as well. so going from pro to boost will be a big step up. ride it alot and give yourself time to get used to it and enjoy!

To lift the rear of the sled, put a jack stand on each side of the sled with a piece of wood going thru the tunnel.

Question about your fuel pump noise. I bought a used 21 assault and the original owner said he had a few issues with it stalling out and loud noise. He opened a warranty right before I bought it. I've only went on two rides but I've never noticed an issue. Now since the warranty is open I need to take the snowmobile to another dealership near me because Polaris wants them to do more checking on it before they will complete the fix. You said eventually yours went away. Do you think I'll luck out? I'd really hate to bring it in now as we have good snow conditions.

Great Video. I'm curious what your opinion is on the different skid/track lengths. If you had it to do over again would still do the 155 Khoas? Or, would you do the 165.... Or Pro 155/165?
@ColinMcEvoy
@ColinMcEvoy Жыл бұрын
I would probably do 165 khaos, all the playfulness of the khaos but slightly more tame with the longer track. Boost 155 khaos is a handful in deep conditions

Hey buddy I appreciate the info. Just bought the exact same sled because it’s a dream sled of mine. Recalls etc don’t matter to me it’s such a cool sled I’m just thankful I can learn how to mountain ride on the best sled on the market. Best of luck this season🤜🤛

I do gotta ask did you get all recalls dealt with? I’m taking mine out regardless but I’m just wondering how big of a deal it was for you and any other Polaris riders!
@ColinMcEvoy
@ColinMcEvoy Жыл бұрын
recalls mostly depend on dealers having parts right now. more and more are getting parts, so just call your dealer and see when they can have parts there but it could be a bit of a wait sometimes.

Are the fox coil overs worth it over the walker even velocity’s that come in the khaos?
@ColinMcEvoy
@ColinMcEvoy Жыл бұрын
If you want to jump or drop or anything like that or you ride more then like 15+ days a season, I would say get the Fox shocks. If you are the casual rider or dont ride alot during the season the WE shocks will work great
@tylerdahlstrom4593
@tylerdahlstrom4593 Жыл бұрын
@@ColinMcEvoy Thanks, I ride around 25 days a year on the snow but tend to stick to the trees. My 2023 has the velocities which so far seem to be significantly better than the monotubes on my 2018 axys.
