The ubiquitous computer has become an essential entity in almost every provider-patient visit.
“Computers,” patient safety expert Dr. Bob Wachter says, “are changing the doctor-patient relationship in all sorts of ways. How has patients educating themselves and researching their butts off- affect the patient-Dr relationship? Why do patients at times feel they have to almost be their own dr to protect themselves or get the proper care from a dr?
