I've loved Hootie & the Blowfish 🐡 since the 90's 🔥👏🏽🔥👏🏽🔥👏🏽 We met the band backstage after a show in Pittsburgh and Darius offered me a beer after I called him Hootie. I was mortified! He didn't mind ☺️ So cool and laid back. I still have the Cracked Rear View CD from 1994.

When my dad went to a Hootie and the Blowfish concert in the early 2000s, when he yelled to Darius Rucker, “YEAH, HOOTIE!!!” he responded with “My name’s Darius…”

Southeastern conference. He went to South Carolina. On that fraternity tour there was a band called Thumper and the Plaid Rabbits And that was before hootie and the blowfish
