How I accessorized my IKEA Milsbo Greenhouse Cabinet | Installing the Pegboard, Lights, and more!

In this video I go over how I accessorized my IKEA Milsbo Greenhouse Cabinet and I show you how to install the pegboard, lights, handles, fan, wire shelves, and more! I take you through the whole process of the IKEA Milsbo Cabinet and what I did to accessorize everything. I really love how it turned out! I ended up switching and making a couple adjustments to my cabinet at the end! So far I am 100% loving the cabinet, I know I will make changes and adjustments to it as needed but I really wanted to make it my own and I thought it turned out really well!

Aw thank you!! Glad to hear that!! I was happy to help share what I did and what worked for me! I can say I’m loving it so far! Most of my plants have been really happy inside. Anthuriums especially! Mine are going crazy. The lights do make it pretty warm inside and so far the humidity has been okay without weather stripping it. I’ll definitely do an update video at some point :)

Just wondering how the lights are working out for you now after having it for a while? I’m setting mine up and trying to pick lights, but you mentioned them getting pretty hot. Hi there! Thank you I’m glad it helped! ☺️ I really do love them! I cut my timer back to 10 hours from 12 and it still gets hot but I think overall my plant room is just warm so it’s contributing to how hot it gets inside. When I was researching lights I read an article on these but I can’t remember what made me choose these ones over the T5’s. I have T5’s under my shelving units and I like them too. I love how these ones have a side cover that slides on. I honestly don’t think you can go wrong with either of them. I came across an article that the houseplantjournal on insta did and he used these in his and he knows a lot about light so I just went with them. I hope you end up loving your cabinet!! 🙏🏼🥰

hello! You said you were cautious about putting your plants in there because of the light....how did that work out? Did any plants burn? Did you go with a less powerful version? 🤔

I switched my timer down to 10 hours and it’s helped with them drying out so much but it still gets like 81-82 degrees F during the day. My plants love it inside!! If they get within a inch or so of the grow lights they do burn so if they get too tall I’ll rearrange or end up taking them out. My anthuriums are taking over lol so much growth!

In the cabinet? It stays about 60-80 % depending if the plants are watered inside. I didn’t feel like weather stripping was necessary. My plant room stays around 50-60’s so that helps too! ☺️
