I know this is an older video but I’m amazed at how little $ you’re able to tour. I suppose keeping it simple by camping, cooking your own food, and not buying excess junk you can keep the budget lean. But I would have never expected it to this lean!

Thanks for your video. It's very informative and revealing. I'm one of those people you've returned emails with, and I really appreciate it. Many of your details are in your blog, as you document every month how much you spent. They are quite low, usually between USD$600-1000 a month, so with some donations and some odd jobs online, and your savings from Canada, which is also info on your blog, you should be able to afford your trip, being frugal and camping out a lot. I didn't know you kept a record of your finances on excel though. Keeping your records for such a long time is impressive- good work!

Hello Lee, Frankly speaking, it is mystery where I got this adventurous spirit because in South Korea I didn't have any friend or family who went to travel far often. I have never dreamed to travel lot even when I was in South Korea. haha. I only dreamed 'one day I want to visit Europe or America.' Now I remember in South Korea I didn't understand why people spent lot money to travel. haha.. My first travel was to cycle in Jeju Island. At that time I rented a bicycle and traveled 9 days. I turned off my phone for nine days although I had a job and boyfriend. That was my first adventure and I think I liked it. After that I went to Canada and I found myself enjoying lot. haha When I was in South Korea, I read some cyclist post on camera forum and it opened my eyes lot because at that time there were not many young people traveling. I think maybe that was starting to know about traveling? By the way these days many young Korean people travel lot. It is going popular ;) Oh.... actually maybe since middle school or high school, when I had fresh air on the midnight at balcony on high apartment, I wanted to run to somewhere forever far.. maybe that was starting?? haha..
