I got up this morning and saw that you did a charcuterie board and said, "Oooooo! I must watch!" But then again, I must watch all of your videos. 😂 That looks great. If you do the other board in another color, I would love to see the video on it.

@@PohlBarnProductions I always tell myself to film everything! Then I leave the camera inside when I go to the forge. 🤣

it takes so much time to screw with the camera, I just wanna get it done
@ericcartrette611816 сағат бұрын
@@PohlBarnProductions it seriously does. You really need another person just to run the camera and do the video editing. But that costs money that most of us don't have. To those reading this, don't take it the wrong way. I do love videoing my work and showing it to all you fine KZbinrs.

Not bad for a first go. The constant sanding is what I hate about these, but every so often you have to do a few. Good job and hope to see you do a few more of these in the future.

That came out nice, Doug. The only thing I know that will give you a food grade shiny finish is multiple coats (one per day) of pure tung oil. And it will take at least six coats. But the matte finish looks fine and as long as the customer likes it, that's all that matters.

Doug it looks great!! One of my go to is from my automotive days. I find 3M brand very expensive for what I’m doing. I use Meguiar’s mirror glaze 105 and 205, or their 110/210 I cannot remember the numbers, but those compounds with a foam buffing pad do fantastic!

Thank You, I saved it all and repoured another board, this time is blue green, it should look great up against the dark walnut, sorry I didn't film it though
@jodilea14422 сағат бұрын
@ I’m glad you were able to save it. I figured since the epoxy didn’t cure it should be fairly easy to remove it all. I love the black in the one in the video, but I’m sure the blue-green does look great with the walnut. 🙂
