I’m a very meticulous Canadian builder that hand builds one pedal at a time. Anyways I never self promote, as I feel it’s a little bit tacky. 🤷🏻‍♂️ But this is a special edition Klone, so I thought it might interest you Klon guys :) It feels like it fits in with interesting Klones. And I’m sure some of you collect them. Or just take a peak of it. It’s all good! It’s a mini klone but still manages to fit normal sized components…through-hole components that is.….into a standard size case. Besides being squashed down in size so it’s handy. The dials are an offset design. This is my last or second last, as the pcb’s were limited edition. I really dig the offset design. Cheers 🍻

Josh, I ordered mine back in February and just received it yesterday. I have to say, this pedal has changed the entire sound of my rig. I go direct through a HX Stomp and all my presets had a Line 6 Klon in every preset. I disabled all the Line 6 Klons and turned on the Notaklon, as an always on effect and every preset bloomed! I've never played through a real Klon, but I have to say that the Notaklon does some special magic to every sound I use. Thanks for making an affordable pedal that actually sounds great!

First, Congradulations on the HUGE success with the Notaklon. Didn't know that JHS was that small of a company with 35 staff (for some reason I thought there'd be much more around 50+), and, if I can backseat comment, it's all reaping from the hard work you guys did, and do, with this YT channel. Secondly, thanks for yet another great communication out to the community, and buyers of your product. You could've taken just a "they get it when they get it" approach, but choose different, and to that I send my thanks. As much as it is easier for a smaller company to do such comms to their customers, it's not a given they must, but again you guys did and kudos for that. Lastly, I'm looking forward to getting my Notaklon. Looks like I'll be in batch 2, so fun times early next year with all the Xmas shipping congestion; and I've no complaints. :D

I haven't ordered the product but I've been watching the videos with interest. I just wanted to commend you for putting out this video to help keep people informed on their orders. I don't think too many companies would do this, they rely on a note to say "shipping soon" or something like that. Communication with your customers is essential. I feel like you made the right decision. The special video to explain the situation is the right way to go, so kudos to you! As a small business, you're better off making things right that having a bunch of parts you paid for sitting in a warehouse. You have lots of obligations, and any business that grows to fast usually gets bitten in the behind. Seems like you are doing your best without screwing your current employees in the long run. Honestly is refreshing in this world and even though I didn't order the Ikea pedal, I appreciate your willingness to communicate what is going on and allow disgruntled purchasers a way out.

It would be easy for a lot of companies to not bother with any of this and just sit back and let the $ roll in and just figure it all out later. And it also reminds me how crazy the initial Klon demand must have been considering that they were made by ONE guy!

Perhaps a big part of this is the DIY aspect - the NTS-1 by Korg has similar appeal, for example.
