I think annotating series books is a good idea especially because you might need to connect the dots...

I found a book in a thrift store from the 1800s. I was thrilled that it had annotations in it. I can imagine a young lady, sitting in the sun in her beautiful dress, writing her thoughts as she read this beautiful book. I looked more forward to reading her notes than the whole book itself. Such a wonderful thing! And to know that people have been doing this for hundreds of years! I loved being able to read part of her mind and what she thought. Back then books were a privilege. And I’m sure she was a well-to-do lady. She wrote quite educated. This is my most prized book in all of my collection.

I highly recommend the Alice in Zombieland books. I personally have read all of them, and had loved them. And I know you love The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices and I think you would really like these books. I think Gena Showalter called them The White Rabbit Chronicles. There is also a side story that’s also really good, but I don’t remember what it’s called... but yeah, I think you would like them 😊😊😊

AAagh i just can't!!! 😱😱i can still remember reading the book but don't want to see my scrawl if i read it again later . I may be coming at the book from a different place mentally. Some people just annotate for the sake of it and its just for show.

There is a lady and she has a series of books, it’s a five part series and her name is Melissa Marr she seems to have only have done this series. It starts with Wicked Lovely and ends with Darkest Mercy. They are a very very good read and you can get them secondhand on Amazon

I’m just reliving my youth and have brought a book by Judy Blume called “Forever” for me when I was a teenager this book was HUGE and it sold out literally everywhere and the waiting list at the library was as long as can be but I eventually got my hands on it and it is the first book I fell in love with.

So do i. I can't bear to see books that are written in, specially books that are read for pleasure not study. If people want to remember a book they have read , read it again !! A lot of my my books were given to me so i see it as an insult to the giver to mark or damage a book in any way.

I had red the vampire diaries. Its a good enough book. Red it yrs ago. Watched the series also. :) I had annotated one of jane eyre books.. that was fun. The other book that you had there.. whats that about.. looks kinda like fantasy etc. :) I also red all of the True blood books. All 12 of them i think.

It’s so fun hearing what everyones colours mean when anotating 😍 I ussualy swich it up with every book but for examplefor shadowhunter chronicles mine are Pink - moments and qoutes I love Orange - funny moments and friendship Yellow - usually for the main characters their development and some mysteries about them (like in tda yellow was for Ema, Julian and Cortana and also the parabatai bond or in TID it was for Tessa and her ancestory lol) but like forshadowing for the main characters Blue - sad moments Green - forshadowing, antagonist and plot Purple - Magnus and Tessa (because they tend to have alot of amaizing qoutes and beautiful moments and usually their moment combine love and pain and it is mostly because of their immortality so yeah when you combain pink (love) and blue (pain) you get purple) but it was also at times for Mark, Kieran and Cristina
