How I assembled the Curlew dress by Merchant and Mills

This is a short instructional video on how I assembled the Curlew dress from the Merchant and Mills Workbook. I highly suggest making a sample/muslin first for the best fit. I recommend not cutting the darts until you like the fit and double-checking the sleeves because they run small.

Hello Tina Marie! Great video. I liked the explanation and the visual on how to attach bias tape. I've never cut darts open like that before and it makes me a little nervous thinking about it, lol. Hello Angela! Thank you so much :) I really suggest doing a muslin first (I agree, very scary to cut a dart) at least a half side to see the bust dart on you and where it falls , my bust is small so I had a lot of of extra fabric at the top above the dart. I also had to extend my dart to be a bit longer. Good Luck and let me know how it turns out!
