Yep yep! In the Gen I games and their remakes, you can find the journals pertaining to the discovery of Mew and the eventual creation of Mewtwo in that mansion, and though I never got that far for lack of interest in the games, apparently in Let’s Go you can even see glass containers in the mansion that were presumably used in the cloning process, the largest of which a Mew or Mewtwo will react to if they’re your walking Pokémon in the area.

Tbf, the gens all have a different sort of sound to them. Individual mons is pretty impressive though (though a Pokémon veteran can identify a good few).

When you arrive on the bottom right pad in the second area (after the starting pad), start going for top left pads. When you land ON a top left pad, head for bottom right pads.This works in FR/LG and HG/SS (discovered it playing Soul Silver). Does not work in LGP/E and I haven't tried in R/B/Y or G/S/C BC I don't own them...
