Mmkay I am struggling for real bc I have sibo and Crohn’s .. I can’t eat salad.. I can’t eat much fat.. I can’t eat carbs.. I may have to go on a carnivore diet.. and I’m so pissed. I’m upset bc I have 6 children to feed, meal prep for my am husband to go to work.. and I hate die off.. I hate being that sick. I’m fixing to see a functional medicine doctor to help me.. but yeah I need prayer.. and encouragement. Almost 4 years of suffering here.. I’m so ready to change but also it’s sucks..

Yes we own our own health. Intermittent fasting and once a month 36 hour fast helped me. Painful cramps left but gas still is a bit if a problem. I tried Keto but it made Sibo worse and made bowel movements very inconsistent. Regular daily walking and upper body weight workout really helps. I walk 2 to 3 miles fast daily and I am over 70.

She LITERALLY said IN the video she has a cookbook she put together for this journey. Now, maybe I'm just new to this whole eating food thing, but, I'm pretty sure that cookbook might include some nutritional information in there like, oh, I don't know ... the recipes themselves!! Hi! I just want you to know how this 10 minute video has impacted my life so much. I am 12 years old and have a condition much like your did. I am on the Sibo diet and I admit i have a pitty party. I haven't gone to school, but i just came back a week ago. I missed my friends and was so upset. I didn't know if i would get better. I have done every diagnostic test there is and its hard to not know what is wrong with your body. I was in tears watching this video because now i am excited to eat the way i do. And to go to school and eat veggies instead of chips like my friends. so thanks for showing me that i can do this. I hope you see this! You made my day 10x better!!!

Hello Rebecca, A lot of identification with your story. I too was 2 months premature way back in 1947 before the UK NHS. I was born at home and weighed only 2lb. I've been diagnosed with diverticulitis. I am convinced I also suffer from SIBO. I have been on the "Wheat Belly", keto, intermittent diet now for 4 months but still feel my gut is not right. Toilet issues are not good Like yourself I get constipation and feel I never empty my bowel completely. So I will be following you to see if you can help.I live on a Scottish Island so have not got the facilities to call on such as homeopathic treatments. Thank you for posting this video.

Hello, I was diagnosed with IBS last year, but highly suspect the root cause to my digestive issues is SIBO. I am very health- conscious, exercise daily, drink plenty of water, have enough fiber, fruits and veggies, etc. But nothing has helped. I alternate between constipation, loose, spongy stools, bloating and crazy, sulfurous gas. I am looking for a new gastroenterologist and am going to try the FODMAP diet and eliminate gluten.

I know. She doesn't even really mention exactly what she took to cure it, just vague answers and if you want to know you have to go buy her cook book or something. Smh. Anyone suffering from sibo knows how debilitating and stressful it is and how many of us spend so much money before we even get to the root of the problem. It's just sad and messes up to prey on people's sickness for extra bucks.

Thank you for sharing. Here is what helped me: 1. Good nutrition, good sleep, extensive walking, and low stress. 2. Walk twice daily. This is better than a longer walk once/day. This is also better than running fast because more relaxing. 3. Chewing my food thoroughly and completely. Count the number of chews. 4. Prunes. 5. Peppermint 6. Magnesium 7. Daily nap Rather than concentrating on killing the bacteria, I concentrate on low stress, good digestion, and fast transit time. This worked for me. I feel so much better. I had tried everything. Different diets, probiotics, etc. Chewing my food thoroughly and completely was a game-changer. And I have to walk twice a day. And if I feel stressed, I lie down and close my eyes and relax. Best wishes to you!

I've got SIBO, been fighting it for years now. I'm finally starting to see some positive turns with it! I just ate pizza with some focaccia bread crust and it didn't put me in serious, cry-your-eyes-out pain! Just made me a little sick from the gas. I found out that I ended up with SIBO because of emotional issues causing toxic energy to build up in that area of my body. It's so bad...anyway, dealing with my traumas and letting them go is helping my system to recover. The diet really has just made the pain less unmanageable, but it never helped alleviate the condition itself.

if you have been chronically constipated all the time, it is likely that it is not bacteria causing the issues, but archea. Also SIBO is not about too many bacteria but about disbiosis the wrong proportions. They produce the methane which causes bloating and slow motility. In that case, the correct definition is not SIBO but IMO Your tips about eating are definitely good. "Feeling crap"haha when talking about SIBO people cant help making lousy puns.

Thanks Rebecca. Just seeing this now, years later… but I’m struggling so much. I’ve been sick with gut related issues since I was 5 years old and I’m now 24. It just feels never ending and it’s the most defeating feeling ever. It really impacts my day to day life… I feel lost at times. I get intense nausea, abdominal pain (usually upper abdomen and middle) sometimes vomiting, chronic bloating, and I get pain after eating pretty much no matter what I eat. Energy is affected too and sleep. I’ve been dealing with some pretty bad insomnia, I do have sibo, but idk what the underlying cause is. But I just need symptom relief and want this to get better. My ND wants to start me on a couple antimicrobials but I’m scared to start because of how trial and error it can be, and I guess worried it’ll make my symptoms worse. I can’t imagine this feeling worse than it does. Let me know if anyone had advice for me, it’s been a struggle on the daily to say the least but I want to not be so fearful and just try something… not so afraid of the what ifs and unknowns around it.

I would say pick a date to start the Sibo diet protocol and then prepare yourself in advance. I started cutting things out of my diet slowly so it wouldn’t be such a shock on the day. I also gathered recipes so I wouldn’t have to struggle figuring out what to eat. Another thing that was helpful to gut healing is intermittent fasting so I started practicing that and getting my body used to it. I will say that it isn’t easy for the first week as the healing crisis can be nasty but just take it easy on yourself and don’t give up because then you have to start again. I was never hungry and never counted calories yet I effortlessly lost extra weight I was carrying for a dozen years. I find I might have to do back on the diet as some symptoms have come back after 2 years but I attribute that to allowing not so healthy foods back into my life too often. It’s hard when your husband is a sugar and junk food monster, but I sure don’t like feeling tired, nauseous, bloated and dizzy. Not fun.

How do you distinguish between SIBO and IBS? For the last 3 months I have had excessive gas and soft stool almost every day. On bad days I have diarrhea as well. There is no pain but it is just mentally draining. I have noticed mucus in my stool in several occasions. The symptoms are usually worse in the mornings and after I eat fatty/oily food. I had exams before the summer holidays which was very stressful and then ate a lot of snacks and had a bad diet over the summer when I went to Japan for 2months on vacation. As a side note, I have food allergies in egg, fish, raw vegetables and raw fruits and so my diet was already imbalanced. My aunt has IBD. And my stress levels are usually high everyday because I have misophonia (sound sentstiveness) for the past 7years which makes me in a 'fight or flight' mode very often. I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist but I have to wait a month for the appointment. Any ideas to what it could possibly be? My life has become miserable and I am feeling low.. Anyways thanks for reading.

Many cases of IBS are caused by SIBO, but not all. The symptoms are very similar. The best way to assess is to run a SIBO test, to help clarify.

I already eat this way and not helping at all. Waiting to do sibo test and going to follow Elemental Liquid diet for a month. I am not hungry or interested in food anyway. My issues are more cognitive and not sleeping and thinking the bacteria is more active at night. Seeing new FMD in a week this will be my 5th natural Dr. None of them even mentioned SIBO. Are you kidding me?? I should demand my money back if I do indeed test positive.

I’m sharing with you that dealing with SIBO is MORE than just clearing an imbalance. There’s a reason why your small intestine stopped working correctly in the first place. The bacterial imbalance is a symptom of something else going wrong. Popping a few pills to deal with the imbalance rarely leads to lasting success. I’ve now worked with thousands of SIBO patients. When they incorporate the 5 Key Pillars (awareness, nutrition, movement, mindset, lifestyle) alongside their treatment and recovery program, they have much better outcomes and their symptoms vastly improve.

Is there anyone who has been diagnosed with SIBO, but doesn't hv the common diarrhea &/or constipation? I think i hv SIBO, but my bowels are pretty regular. However, i hv constant gas & bloating, especially after meals (no matter what it was I ate). I hv a constant feel of hot gases coming up from my esophagus. I hv skin breakouts, constantly, & feel sluggish most days of the week. Seems that most SIBO patients are struggling with bowel issues, that i am not (thank goodness).

The antibiotics were faxman I did and/or tried that pill gave me debilitating constipation where I ended up in the hospital two times so I stopped doing that and now I'm out of options and have no idea what to do and how to do it and I'm out of money. So inspiring Rebecca, I think of this all the time while I’m healing from SIBO and it gives me so much motivation 💛💛 I had just one question regarding your SIBO journey in terms of probiotics because it confuses me. Did u take probiotics while healing SIBO as I heard that even if it is good bacteria, that it just adds to the existing bacteria making it worse. Moreover, what strains did u take in ur healing journey, when did u take them (while healing sibo or after it cleared) how long did u take them, and what kind of doses were you taking just as a rough idea?? Thank you so much, and I wish more good health for you 💛💛💛

I had the SIBO test and it was dreadful. My body instantly reacted to the lactulose and It gave me chronic diarrhea for almost 48hrs. Before then I had normal bowel movements but had other digestive issues and wanted to rule out SIBO. Test came back positive and super dominant on hydrogen! (Diarrhea) 90 mins in.. but I can’t help to remember that they literally have me these symptoms!!! The Lacoste ruined my digestive track for days. It’s a synthetic laxative. So be cautious with these tests.. also after further research, these SIBO tests are not even 60% accurate. Yikes!

I know this is kind of late, but maybe this will still help you: First things first, you should see a medical professional and check whether you have an IBD. But, since I know how frustrating and long that can be to figure out, here some additional suggestions: First, your symptoms sound like you have a problem with your Ileocecal Valve (ICV for short). It regulates the flow of waste from the small to the large intestine and also prevents bacteria to migrate to the small intestine from the latter (a potential cause for SIBO). Look for "ICV Massage" Videos here on KZbin to learn more about it and how to fix it. Second, don't take probiotics if you suspect you have SIBO. Your body can obviously not regulate Bacterial presence in your small intestine in that case. Adding more bacteria is madness. Third, if you feel like your body is not absorbing the nutrients from your food properly, check your stomach acid level (look for stomach acid test on here) and try supplementing with digestive enzymes (take them BEFORE the meal), the diarrhea could be related to a lack of fat digestion capability. Incidentally, fixing this will also help to keep SIBO in check. These are just suggestions based on your described symptoms and are in no way medical advice. It's just that it helped me, back when I had the same symptoms as you. Best of luck!

@ sanjeet dadwal Try allimax. Dose yourself up to 10 or 25 tablets slowly as you will experience die-off. It stops bacterias from reproducing when feeding on food. If you are really suffering, get a spooky rife machine. You can find the exact pathogen which causes your digestive issues. After detecting it you can eradicate - it may take several weeks or months. Allimax is more effective as you don't have to kill one bacteria after another. The bacteria basically stops from proliferating and eventually get significantly reduced. Report on your status quo ;)
@sonibraun4971
@sonibraun4971 6 жыл бұрын
I'm just following the protocol and having good results (bad Morbus Crohn + very bad Candida overgrowth). I did a good amount of research on allicin and spooky and played with different alternatives and this seemed to work the best for me. Diet plays a critical role too. If I were her/him I'd definitely do a MRT or an ultrasound to exclude a real injury or other structural abnormalities. Lower right abdomen is a blind gut. Maybe it is infected.
@sonibraun4971
@sonibraun4971 6 жыл бұрын
And one more note: Don't go for any allicin supplement out there, allimax has studies proving its very efficacy and it is the only remedy on the market having a pure very high level of allicin (a garlic compound). The other remedies are useless. Allicin in the blood inhibits an enzyme which bacteria/funghi/viruses/parasites/'lyme species' need for reproducing.
