Great job bro. I was on methadone and xans for pain and anxiety for 14 years 3 years with xans and I had to get off them and now I’m on suboxine I been on it for 2 weeks im just trying to get over the withdrawal symptoms it’s been a rough 2 weeks but im just taking every day 1 at a time. I don’t want to be on suboxin long term like some people are for 5-10-15 years I just want to get my body back to a sober lifestyle again.

Subboxn were life savers for me getting off that shit, I would suggest that to anybody getting off pain meds. Best choice I made shit was destroying my life. Thank you for your story. This period in your life can now be a true stepping stone up the mountain called YOU/SELF especially sense you've grown and are continuing to from it now and have learned how. These what we call "low moments" in are life if grow'd upon wisely, only then can, will, and must without choice make us stronger at that point, but until then it will be the exact opposite, and in fact it will just keep the person in that state and in a continued spiral downwards. Much Love again brotha!

So inspirational! I've dealt with toxic people and family for years. I tried so hard to make everyone but myself happy which led me down a very dark path. I'm in the process of recovering from the abuse, I've lost so much. It's so good for people like us to talk to others in the same boat or who was once in the same boat. I'm so introverted it took me years to be able to open up about deep pain that stemmed from childhood which led me to make my bad choices. True friends and family who love you will always be there for you, telling you you're worth it and trying to help anyway they can. Looking myself in the mirror each day telling myself I'm somebody, I'm not worthless, I'm not pathetic, I'm not hideous. I started doing hobbies that make ME happy like family time, meditating, taking long baths (even though there's a million other things I need to get done) boxing, painting, going to support groups (bc they aren't pointless afterall); making crafts, cleaning ( yeah, I'm weird!) You only have one life and one person to make happy so that the ones you love are also happy. I'm so glad you shared this❤

Thanks for sharing, brother. I’ve never had a substance abuse problem, but I’ve lost a lottttttt of friends from my hometown to drugs. Including my childhood best friend that I went to elementary, middle, and high school with. We learned how to skateboard together, got our first jobs together, always had each others backs. Unfortunately we drifted a bit after high school but I always considered him a brother me. Then October 12, 2018 I got the news. He had developed an addiction, got clean, celebrated his 100 days of being sober, then somehow fell back into it and got some stuff that was laced and it took him from us. Growing up I thought I knew what pain felt like. I’ve had tough times and hardships, but 10/12/2018 made me realize what true pain feels like. It’s been almost a year and a half and it still hurts just the same today as it did when I was standing at his funeral. Sorry to ramble, but I’m glad you made it out because I know your closest friends and family members would be in shambles if they had lost you. I wouldn’t wish that pain on my worst enemy. Stay sharp, brother. And if you ever need to talk, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Respect and more respect for sharing a tough story. I know just how hard it is to be this vulnerable and honest. Don’t be ashamed of anything you did then, that was addiction in the drivers seat. THIS is what it means to be a good man. You probably already know, but man, you are so lucky to wake up from the nightmare. So many people waste away a life in pain and shame, and obviously you’re on a different path now. I got a second shot at life too, a little more than 20 years ago. The trauma will always be there, but now it just reminds me of how fortunate I am to be here and free. My heart breaks when I see a young person struggling with addiction, and I truly hope you’ve inspired someone, anyone, to start climbing out of it. If you’re reading: We are behind you, rooting for you, YOU can do it too. It starts now.

July 9th, I celebrated 27 years clean and turned 67 on November 1st. I spent most of my younger years in the penitentiary and boxed Golden gloves when I was a teenager and would have loved to have found something like Street Beefs back when I was younger but I still enjoy watching y'all beat the shit out of each other. I really hope that you manage to stay clean because as you've already learned, it's a life and death matter. Using, for me stopped being fun when I was in high school and I did whatever I had to do to just stay well. I haven't woke up dope sick in 27 years and I'll be eternally grateful to the people who've helped me along the way. It's not something that we can do alone. My only advise for you or anyone else like me and you, is when you get hurt, and you're gonna get hurt doing what you do, don't keep prescribed pain meds a secret. Tell people and stay accountable. You'll make it man, you'll make it.

Hey Bro, I understand how it is, MDMA was my trouble, and similarly LSD had really had woken me up. Psychadelics project ones inner thoughts and emotions to the surface level, if reveals to oneself how they really feel in the inside, wether its good or bad is all up to the one experiencing it, and what they make out of it, one can accept them for what they and move one from them, its great for understanding oneself even more, but if you don't like what you see the whole experience can be fuck you up bad.

Been rocking with streetbeefs since before there was 50k subs... This hit me bro. Been going thru a bit myself. Nothing crazy, not a big amount... But consistent for like 2 years cuz of surgeries. Glad you straightened out big dawg. Im on 4th day of no Ps... Did like 15mgs a day, up to 45 on a weekend or poker night or something... But usually 15. Always justified it cuz I never increased the amount to level most addicts do (I never did no 80s or nothing). But now that I'm 4 days clean I am getting migraines and huge depression waves constantly. Listening to your story is super relatable and appreciate hearing it. It's Helping me at the moment

Just watching this now. Almost at the end, but I have chills! You are truly inspiring! May I share this? I am an ex-heroin addict. There are many people whom I believe this may help.

Maybe 2 months sober on this vid? Almost died in a xanny withdrawl. Thank you for this video. Something about listening to someone else talk about this really did a lot for me. I too love martial arts and hope to get back to training when I can work out the funds and a ride.

I think the most important thing about kicking a drug addiction for good is finding something else you can look forward too that’s dependable

I’ve been clean since 12-12-12 Since you want to be open and honest I’ll be open and honest whether you read it or not lol I was an amazing athlete for my age when I was little. I always stuck out by a mile compared to the others. Amazing for a kid. My Dad became a crack head and went to prison and my alcoholic mom was more concerned about who she was gonna fuck that night and was never home. I got into drugs after breaking my ankle at 13 and getting morphine After that it was OxyContin (when they was real and only .25 a mg) and by 15 I was shooting them up. Fast forward to I’m 27 and I get sober and my mental health went to shit. Was diagnosed with ptsd, severe bipolar and severe ocd. I got put on psych meds and they instantly made me gain 105lbs to be exact. I was miserable. Fat. Couldn’t move. Depressed and pissed off. Sat and think how I ruined my life and can never get those same opportunities back. Than about last year I found the SB channel on KZbin and watched everyone go out there and pour their heart into the backyard and it made me want to get in shape! In the last five months I’ve dropped 54lbs. 276lbs down to 222lbs and it’s all mostly calisthenics and boxing exercises thanks to you guys. I would love to come out to spar or something or just watch some fights but i dont have a license and money is too tight to travel haha But it’s really cool to see how far you’ve come my dude! Keep grinding! And a huge shout out and a huge thank you to Street beefs because you all motivated me to lose the weight, which has helped me mentally as well as gets me laid again and gives me something to do so I can stay sober lol Thank you for this video my dude and thank you to Street beefs

This is inspiring as fuck (excuse my language ) and I feel bad for smoking a blunt as I watch this but I feel this . I’ve been smoking for 4 years and I’m trying to stop . I know there’s nothing really that bad about it but sheesh looking back at all the bills I dropped on bud and wax for dabbing . I could’ve had a 2020 car probably or just done some financial investment into something. I can do this! I will do this ! I must do this ! Thanks Esteban for the story. Came from street beefs too great job on the fight .👌🏽
