My son is this age and I try so much to direct him the right way but it ends up being down to the people he spends time with, as he works more than they do. I hate seeing so much money slip through his hands. I've explained over and over that I don't want him to make my mistakes. Sad. He thinks 'things just work out' for me, but doesn't realise what goes into that.

@@Chahlie Well, I hope that you can subtly guide him to where he understands how to minimize his expenses and that everything takes work. Most of the times, you can’t force somebody to change completely since they have to come to that conclusion themselves that it’d be the best thing for them. And even then, they must truly work in changing their habits. I recommend you to stop being the enabler of his bad habits because people usually don’t learn if things are already accessible to them cause there needs to be a reason to change. Also provide him the information he needs to become successful and just let him do it on his own. If you completely force things on people, they’ll automatically react with high resistance so just do it subtly if necessary. I hope that everything goes well and that he also has a great father figure to guide him. Good luck

I feel like there are two keys to becoming confident: 1. Accept your shortcomings 2. Improving it. Every time I start a new job, I feel unconfident at the beginning because of my English skills. However, I will think that I can' change right away, and lots of times when I express my opinions in the past, my previous colleagues actually like my ideas and they will ignore how bad my English is. So, I will try to express my opinions more often. That makes me get familiar with the new environment faster and makes me feel more confident. However, when I start a new job next time, I will feel unconfident again. So, another thing that I do is to constantly practice my English speaking skills because this is the root cause of my insecurity.

Not the cliche of money isn’t the source of happiness, but rather your opinion on capitalism and maybe a comparison between capitalist democracy and communism. What is the point of continually chasing money. I mil dollars this year ok..but next year you’ll want 2mil then 5mil etc...but what is the real conclusion at the end, anyways keep up the vids ! :)

People today make me less confident, I had a lot more confidence in people when I was a kid than I do now as a young adult. It could be just the area I’m in, but it definitely makes me feel unconfident to talk to most people around here, I just always feel like they’re not gonna understand me. I used to be more confident when I was constantly trying to be higher on the popularity totem pole, but now that I’m just focusing on myself and my future, it’s like I’m on a completely different wavelength than most of the people in my area.

I’m 35 and it’s been a struggle with 3 kids to get by, I have taught them how to be frugal and to always make sure your getting the best deal on everything but we still live month to month. I have shared your channel with my nearly 16 year old son who is very interested in numbers and money. Hopefully you will inspire him as you have me. I’m at the stage in my life that my kids are having to make decisions and I just hope they are able to be more successful than myself. I am going to be much more proactive and not just make excuses why people I see are more successful than me. Thank you and I wish you continued success in whatever that looks like for you, whether that be continuing to grow, so taking a step back and really living a fulfilling life!

Confidence to me is knowing myself and my identity, ( which is extremely loved & valuable) bc you just can't control the external. I make tons of mistakes but know myself well enough to know the why & identity the why with bouncing it off others. I also know my heart usually means well and that builds my self worth. I overcome my fears with throwing myself out there, like public speaking.
