One day at a time. You can walk again with assistance ,likely ride again, also. The financial issues are surmountable eventually . If you take counsel in medical bankruptcy many things can be avoided. Stay as strong as you can , the serenity prayer has helped me get through many insurmountable dilemmas. Many doors may open for you in your downtime. Be open to opportunities you didn’t foresee. Document your journey through recovery. You have the equipment and support . Cross content will shift some but most of us watch for the individual and their personality vs genre content anyway . Prayers and positive thoughts for your full recovery. My motto at the end of this I’ve adopted has served me well getting past down times and life lessons good and bad. Know you have lots of people in your corner. I’ve been in wheelchairs and used cane for years from multiple different spinal injuries. ( worn out farmer and construction body ) I can walk unassisted and now ride an Ultra Classic I waited 30 years for . I never thought I’d get the chance to. Broke 100 mph last night on way home . First time in many many years. Never , Ever , Give Up , Onward!

Very sorry to hear about your injuries Greg. Prayers for a quick healing and recovery buddy. If you were headed eastbound on Warwoman, I may know the exact spot you went off the road. Was riding with my cousin several years ago and he had to lay down a 1500 Suzuki cruiser, but fortunately neither he nor the bike went over the cliff. He did leave lots of DNA on the road but no serious injuries. Who knows the outcome had he and the bike gone off the cliff. Heal quickly as possible and I hope your pain is manageable very soon. Keep positive thoughts and hammer you some healing bro. 🆗👍

Heu brother. I can relate. I was hurt over 12 years ago on duty chasing some burglars. I broke my neck/back and had to relearn to use my hands and still dont walk well but I can ride and it has been my mental relief. I came back and got my riding skills mostly back after riding for over 50 years all over the states/Alaska and Canada. I have had good things come my way over the last few years. Keep going hard but do not rush it. What happened to you could have happened to anyone who loves to ride. Keep us updated and see you out there sometime!!

Praying for you Greg! Please don't worry about the doctor Bill's. We are about the same age, in 2015 I couldn't afford Obama care, and got sick thought I was going to die. Had some hospital bills, I filed for assistance at my local hospital and it took care of the most of it. Worst they can do is ruin your credit, they can't eat you! If you make an attempt to pay it back they can't even ruin your credit. You can pay 25 bucks a month and your fine. I have a 2018 v strom 1000 and have a switch to turn the abs off, it will lock up the tire so easily if the switch is off, really it's dangerous plus those rough motoz tractionators aren't made for fast curves. Hang in there brother, and try not to worry, like lynard skynard said troubles will come and they will pass!!

There's nothing wrong with, how could this have been prevented, that's a learning experience.
