I belive over savings is not good even for your life, because you’re living a life of constantly living scarcity. I think that energy doesn’t attract abundance. I save but I don’t over save where I don’t get what I like but God always blesses me with more more money. Cause I belive in a life of abundance. I think finding a middle ground is very good. Also practice giving, to family, the needy, any charity with a great and good cause. It will help balance your money mindset and relationship.

Omg I literally feel the same way I’m 20 and saved 10k already and people are always shocked when I tell them I’m saving for a home. It’s getting to the point where I don’t do the things I love, because I feel like I have to save every penny. It’s so hard ughhhh

I bought a house last year so I can absolutley relate to this. My biggest thing is not spending money on unneccessary things because I don't want to create a habit I cannot break if I need to (ex: nails, hair, clothing). SN: if you don't have TV included in your internet package there are ways to reduce that payment by at least $10, call your provider.

Exactly! I was like $966 mortgage. Where they do that at?! I'm in an apartment and my rent is wayyyyyyy more. Saving for a home, but I live in California and so far what I've seen mortgages for a 3 bed / 2 bath home is $2k or more...smh. Cali is unnecessarily expensive.

I am a chronic saver!! I make good money and hate to spend it. I will spend but not like I know I can. Like all I do is work and take care of myself and my two kids, we don’t travel, we don’t do anything it’s actually quite sad. Before Covid we did but we don’t do much of anything now. My mother who was my travel buddy with the kids is too scared to travel now because of Covid which is another reason why we don’t do anything. I’m hoping to change this in the next year. I want to enjoy life and my money! Not die and leave it all to my kids!!! 🤣

Thx you for being a true inspiration. I too believe in the fact that you can never have enough savings. I know that someone will always have a hand out regarding life and bills. I'm a homeowner as well. Even when my home is paid off I'll still owe the taxes on the land go figure lol. I firmly believe in paying myself 1st I utilize the 10/90 rule once bills are paid the amount that's 100 percent free and clear wifey and I put 90 percent of that in savings and we keep 10 percent for leisure.
