G'day Ralfy, another half hour of quality fab. work especially those axle adjusters.👍 I hope you don't mind me saying RIP Dr. Harris for the 31st of May, twenty three years would you believe. I always enjoyed Maz's chronicles and I especially liked the historical account of the Auckland milkbar cowboys and the world's first bikers rights demo.on the 21st of January 1955 in BSH No-25 May 1986 (re.milkbar cowboys google old buzzards mc) and if anyone wants a chuckle check out (New Zealand bikers. A salute to old school ape hangers on YT). Cheers Ralfy and that is my rant for the week and I hope you all had a great weekend.

Nice mixed bag again fella .. nice few modifications on the 1st bike much improved to say the least I'd guess either not thought out or out of time on the original build ..head rebuild and stator probably not much to see anyways . Nice little bit of turning on the last bit great use on the mill in keeping with the precision we expect from you and not attacking it with a slitting disc lol. Hope it's a great weekend for the club . Cheers buddy

Well done mate, interesting use of the end mill to cut the slot, I probably would have used a slitting saw but hey, it worked!
@RalfyCustoms Жыл бұрын
Thanks bud, I don't have a decent slitting saw setup 😉

Ralfy. I need advice, changed the shocks on my Enfield 650 interceptor. The standard top bolts are made of some sort of chocolate alloy. Brought some stainless bolts from Hitchcocks & 1 of them snapped right on the shoulder of the thread. Drilled out what's left starting small & worked out to 5mm then the , as the septic, used an easy out & snapped thr square end off ! Any idea what sort of drill I need to drill the rest out ? Cheers, Mark.
@RalfyCustoms Жыл бұрын
Hi bud, if you've snapped the easy out in the hole you've got a job on your hands, try drilling it out from the other side if possible, failing that I'd be welding a nut on whatever is stuck and try to work it out

😎👍😎 On the Suzuki..I've been told the carbs are hard to get tuned when you've God pod filters as compared to a filter box..any unusual things done to carb or intake to assist in tuning carbs ..built in restrictors ..??
@RalfyCustoms Жыл бұрын
Hi, I didn't get involved with the carbs, but a dynojet kit would be my starting point

What was done to carbs to tune them ... I've read carbs with pod filters are difficult to tune properly..any restrictions inside of filters..??
@RalfyCustoms Жыл бұрын
No idea buddy, I didn't do anything to them, a dynojet kit would be a good start,
