regardless of the RAM placement, you did an awesome job for your first build. Especially, for someone with minimal desktop/hardware background (assuming you don't). two thumbs up!

Besides RAM, which shows that you are truely first time PC biulder your tutorial is Top Noch. One minor minus would still go towards placing cooler on top of processor. You should have taken steps on how you placed it on top? Does it require thermal paste ot not...

No NVMe SSD. Booooooo. :P You can pick up the 970 Evo 250Gb for $115 on Newegg and it runs MUCH faster than your SATA 860 Pro. Not to mention it requires no cables or case mounting. Still rocking my old 850 Pro and it still curb stomps any SATA drive for speed.

Grensom did u read the MB book... cus thats not how the ram should be line up
@allencoppin19816 жыл бұрын
You should resit your ram in the correct dim slots man! Look just above the memory slots on your motherboard, and it should say A0 B0, A1 B1. You'll want to place it in A0 B0 for the best optimisation of you ram, just have a quick google and you will quickly figure it out! Otherwise awesome video man!
@jussi286 жыл бұрын
Allen Coppin yes, this is important to use dual Channel mode, which is faster

If you want to, you can flip your radiator from your CPU liquid cooler, so that the tubes are at the top, it looks much cooler. And you should screw the thumbscrews (from the panels you removed to make place for the graphics card) back, to give you graphics card more stability. I hope I could help!
@Grensom6 жыл бұрын
Wow! Thank you for the feedback, I think I will end up making those changes. The CPU Cooler was a pain to put those wires in like that, it never occurred to me to flip it to make It less obstructive. Thank you!

Your radiator fans are backwards, should be pulling fresh air instead of exhausting it out of the case, the frame/structure/cross side of the fans should be facing your components.
@Grensom6 жыл бұрын
You are the second person to say that. I was unaware that is how it is supposed to work. I will be sure to check that out. Thank you!

The side with a cross/motor for the fan, is always the backside, this is where the air will always be pushed towards on a pc fan.
@Mike669996 жыл бұрын
You need to change your AIO fans direction to push air inside the case in order to have airflow, either put the fans in-front of the radiator or flip the fans to pull air through the radiator
@Grensom6 жыл бұрын
Interesting, I did not know that. I will be sure to check the manual on the AIO fan and make that adjustment. Thank you for the heads up!
