The PM700 is an excellent saw that is becoming popular with collectors now. The 610 is a great underappreciated saw. I think you should name the TB osso since it was made in Mexico. Xl12 is a classic . 034 I sold mine! Is that last saw an Orline ?

The Pro Mac 700's are an excellent saw for sure. The Mac 610's are overlooked by many, but those that have them and use them always talk about what a great all around saw they are. The Mac 610's are called McBricks because of their looks. Maybe I should name the TB the McTaco ! Si! The last saw is one of the many different private labels used on what is basically an ORLINE. Some of the brand names used on them are 1. Orline, Mustang, Runyan, FORD etc.

You ain’t going to have it long! I have seen projections for more bad weather for the 1:30 PNW. It is warm, here, and cool at nights.

The weather has been the typical bad stuff here. I have had a hard time getting enough good weather to do my videos. Weather should be changing for the better soon though.

Thank you so much for the extra nice comment and for watching. I like to be busy, especially outdoors with a chainsaw in hand.

Love them old Max I got a lot of the 1010 series 55 series and three of the seven hundreds they are some beasts I'm getting the 8:50 to run now and get it broke in and I'll see how that one works I'm sure it will be out of this world as far as the power goes and as far as branching you can't beat the little PM sixes I love them little ones

It is nice to have a Mac collection, especially from their heyday. They were the best. The mac's of 82 cc's were truly magnificent.

Like guns, only good saws are worth talking about. I used to say only accurate guns are worth talking about - the same goes for saws. Only saws that perform reliably are worth talking about.

I think it was Col Charles Askins who said, "Only accurate rifles are interesting."

Hard to beat most McCulloch saws. The Pro Mac 700 and 600 series saws were some of their best! The XL-12 is one of my favorites too. I figured Mr. Poo would be at the bottom somewhere, ha! All the best!

My McCullochs have all stood the test of time, and all have been great performers. It was only about 3 years ago that I got my XL 12 and Super XL, which are real good saws also, but the Mac's are smoother, therefore my favorites. Mr. POO started out in the no good category, worked it's way up to bad + after some mods, and was running and cutting fairly decently till the crank seals and bearings failed !

I hear you. I'm partial to my my Macs as well. The XL-12 is a close second for me. I do like running my Super XL, a lot! I remember there was a brief redemption of sorts for Mr. Poo, but it didn't last long. Cheap, plastic, throw-away saws. Do you have plans to fix the saw or are you going to put her out to pasture?
@mrobsoletesvintagehomestea91567 ай бұрын
I was recently given another Wild Thing (POO) saw that had some of the pieces I need to fix MR. POO, and I have located the new parts it needs also. So I am going to fix it just for the heck of it !

If you have the parts you might as well. Chapter three in the life of Mr. Poo begins!

Three of the 31 fruit tree cutting that I started rooting last fall have made it through the winter and are putting out new leaves or blooms. I hope the remaining 28 do the same. Poulans today would make Mr. Poulan puke. He built good saws in Shreveport, LA.

Our trees are starting to bud too. Poulan's today are poop.
