My chain gets dry lube at anytime I can hear it. On my Terratrike Path I see I have run the chain through the idlers wrong according to what I see in your video. Will change that soon.

I don't know if that idler position is universal on all recumbents, so maybe check with Terratrike just to be sure...? This is the only brand I have had so far, and my husband's is in the same position. So appreciate you watching! Happy triking! Blessings, GG

I used to remove my chain and soak it it melted wax. Everything stayed very clean but I am not that ambitious anymore. I don't even have a support. I just run the chain backwards a few times, then use a paper towel to clean off the excess.
