Babywipes work the best for me. The gelliplate gets cleaned perfectly (even old spots come off) and moistured at the same time. But if my babywipes are out of stock, I will be happy to use your method - thanks for showing. 🤗

not to be a party pooper (pun intended) baby wipes have a long lifespan before they decompose. According to Google they take 100 years to degrade! Just to be ecologically sensitive I prefer to use rags or paper towels.

@@artwhisperer88 Agree. I use rags until they are so crusty they could almost be a piece of sculpture. Baby wipes also require a lot of resources to produce, package, and ship.

How about putting a layer of paint on it and pull? Would that work on 2 day old paint?

And how often do you condition the plate with oil?

when the plate gets sticky that it tears the paper. Conditioning frequently can only help, not harm the plate as it is partly made of oil.

Do you know if you can safely clean the plate with Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray?

any cheap dishwashing liquid will do, but if you want to plug your brand, hey, go for it!

LOL! I swear I wasn't plugging the brand. I have a bottle of it for cleaning my oven and thought since its a spray bottle it would be easier.

@@paintedkimonostudio5367 please don't use it full strength! Dilute it with a lot of water, a little goes a long way.
