I'm contemplating this type of a cage next, my current single male mouse has a traditional wire cage with tube tunnels. But I love the look of the glass tank/terrarium and they are more roomy usually too. But I dreaded the cleaning! I didn't know it could be this easy. I'm just used to removing the top part of the current wire cage and washing both parts directly under tap. But once you showed us how easily a terrarium can be cleaned, I think I'm going for it! Our cat brought us 3 baby mice. 🤦♀️ we tried to locate the nest but we can’t find it. So now I’m currently taking care of mice that appear to be about 2-3 weeks old. One is much smaller than the other two and is the only one really interested in kitten formula. They have all started nibbling on oats and it looks like they can drink from the bowl. We bought food and set it in the cage but no one has touched it yet. The smallest one drinks the least if at all from the bowl. She’s also the friendliest and wants to be held as soon as she sees the hand come down. I think the other two might be male. Anyway, now that we have them, we are hooked and plan to keep mice as soon as these ones are grown enough to release. I’m a bit nervous about keeping wild mice, except the smallest of the three is so friendly it will be hard to let her go. I just want to say thank you for your videos. I had no idea how awesome mice could be.
