Yeah as a Christian and really struggling with this as a 16 year old I just tried to make it not a big deal but I slipped into a lot of depression and anxiety. Praying and reading the Bible and trying to stay more present in the moment and the dopamine detox are what saved me bro. Glad somebody is making content on this and not just lying and saying it’s fine like everyone told me growing up

Those 2 things helped keep me from being tempted half as much. Start reading more as well. It doesn’t have to be huge books about self improvement. It can be a little junky fiction book. But you need to start introducing habits in your life that you can do at the times you get tempted the most. Me personally I was tempted anytime I was in my bedroom alone with my phone and especially right when I was getting changed and going to sleep. So I started leaving my phone in the living room and at night I would try to read right before I went to bed and right before I went to sleep. I’ll be praying for you every night before I go to sleep. Stay strong man. God can help you fight this. You’re not in this alone. God makes everything so much easier. Most people run from the feelings of horniness. Run towards it. Embrace them and become a conneseur of the sensation as if it were a fine wine. Also be aware that vulnerability sometimes lies underneath the urges. You may need to feel repressed emotions that you’ve bottled. But, I’ve noticed that when the urges come, sometimes you’re just hungry or have to pee. Always eat or pee before you decide to cave and slip…

Had a rekindling of my faith. I was never especially religious but recently have really been having a tough time and God seemed to call me back. I felt like such a hypocrite because I wanted to grow more in faith and principle yet I was stuck in this self destructive cycle of porn and masturbation which would overall just kill what little confidence and productivity I had. I started listening to Gregorian chant music, closing my eyes and just meditating. I gave up porn and masturbation in September of this year and haven't relapsed once, I started exercising every day for the first time in my life and have kept that up since early October, I stopped eating bread and sugary drinks, and I'm eating less of things I know are detrimental to my health and weight. I'm slowly gaining confidence and self-control. I'm going to turn my life around and it can all be traced back to giving up the curse of porn and masturbation. Brothers, we can all do this. I'm still growing and I've still got a lot of work to do but if you're miserable just know that you're not struggling alone and you have the strength to resist these urges and move on to more important things in life. I believe in you.

hey i actually share a lot of your story. through my teenage years i was really into videogames and even though my parents would tell me not to play, my brain couldn't process how bad of a habit it is. last year i realized how much TIME i wasted playing (thousands of hours) and it hit me really hard. i haven't touched any game whatsoever for a year and it feels really good, for as porn i've been in nofap for a while now (2-3 months) and the benefits are that it gives far more energy and motivation to exercise, work, study, hobbies, etc. spreading the message is by far the most important thing to do, i told some of the "friends" i used to play with online, they didn't listen to me.. and the other day one of them calls me in tears of joy how quitting porn & videogames changed his life (he was on a streak of 5 months). these habits we were imposed in recent years are poison and deviate ourselves from our lifetime plan hope many more guys wake up. cheers hope you read the entire message lol

Fighting is the wrong mindset. You have to make peace with yourself. Many times urges are actually bottled emotions coming to the surface that have been covered up by fapping. Give yourself permission to feel these emotions, embrace them and move through them. Additionally, urges should also be embraced as a natural and desirable part of the male experience. These sensations are very effective at covering up anxiety and nervousness. They reduce anger and frustration, and improve your motivation. They make being masculine easier. Be glad when you feel urges come on.

During quarantine I learned all about it and conquered it, got a girlfriend for the first time and all was good. Then i spent too much time with her which led to me spiraling down the rabbit hole of losing my self-improvement journey and no longer being nofap. College started, struggled a bunch and was pretty aimless with my life. Now it’s my sophomore year of college, I’ve picked a major that I’m able to handle and not one that’s too easy or too hard, I’m in the gym almost everyday, listening to productive podcasts, eating healthier than ever but still not perfect, but the one thing I’m focusing on fixing now is being back on NoFap and hopefully finding a girlfriend again but this time a much healthier relationship where I set boundaries and continue to focus on myself. Seeing this video has inspired me to want to focus on mediating once I am able to be NoFap again, and then start reading daily again. A lot of rambling but this video really hit home for me cuz I can relate so much to the story told. Stay strong men, we need to support each other in these times!

Guys i want to add to anyone that tries to get off any addiction be it chemical, physical, psychological etc. Meditation will really help you! And kudos to Ken for bringing it up. But another really great tool is controlled breathing and cold showers. And yes you do them together. The timing you do them is every time you consiously feel that you will be stressed from an activity, overthink or anything that will make you relapse. Dont overanalyze it. Take your clothes,go under cold water, take that shower, and breath. Create your own breathing tempo and breath. From nose to the stomach and back. If you have that habit (because it is a habit) it will break (in time) your bad one. You basically exchange one controlled habit with an uncontrollable one. Ofc i could type about the positives of cold showers, breathing, mindfullness etc. But just wanted to you give you an out and to motivate you to keep going! We all fail, and when we do we fell that the plan is the problem. But most of the times it is just the steps. Glad if i could help! P.S. if you are at work and cant take the shower,do this instead. Take 2 minutes go to the bathroom and put cold water on your face, then breath and then again for about 2 minutes. Just think about breathing. You will reset your mind. Good luck broskis!

This video just made me realize that whenever I try doing something at my present moment I am not focused on it nor I can focus on my studies or educational videos nor am I fully able to talk to my inner self because whenever I am doing that I am constantly thinking of some other thing if not then there is some voice in my head constantly telling me that there are people around you judging you and looking down on you that just don't let me do anything at my full potential. I think I am most productive when I am alone. Being alone helps me get rid of some burdens from my head. Sorry if it sounds weird but that's just me. But now there is something in this video that hit my head that just make me conscious about the whole world I think. From now on I am going to change some things in my life. I think it will make me change who I am.

The curious mix of emotions, tingling, hot and cold, the feeling of fullness, etc should be enjoyed as part of the male experience. Forgive these things and hug them because that’s what it feels like to heal your brain. Plus it takes so long to find this valuable state and it’s sooo easy to slip and destroy it. “Resisting” is silly. Enjoy every minute 🙂

Thank you so much for making this helpful video. I've been struggling to quit binging junk food. I've always tried to do this and then I feel uncomfortable, I'll tell myself that I'll eat junk food one more time, and then I'll quit it forever but I couldn't. But now I know that I don't have to identify with every thought and emotion in my head, convincing me to do these things one more time. I will try to meditate for at least 15 minutes every day from now on. I feel scared, actually, I burst into tears cause I am afraid that I will never get out of this cycle. Today, October 21st is my birthday, and I found your video thanks to the algorithm. It is the most needed gift I've ever received. P/s: Sorry if I make any grammar mistakes. i had been on nofap for 3 months. i wouldn't say it didn't help but i might have felt proud for going this long. but i didnt gain energy, or strength or confidence. i was never addicted btw. i am always controlled. but i always had to do it before a workout, it gives me motivation. i just basically feel guilt and guilt turns into motivation. i am totally against it religious wise. that's why i stopped for 3 months. but i could say i am very proud i have come this far. but i didn't gain confidence. which was a bummer for me. i really wanted to boost my self esteem and confidence. but in those 3 months i was consistent with the gym. so basically the Pros Are - you dont rely on short term pleasure instead you look for big achievements. even if they are easy to do. Cons are - results werent as great as expected

this right here! everyone who struggles with nofap should have the mentality that it isnt a struggle. that they arent addicted and its the easiest thing in the world to stop. thats 99% of the fight. if you think it’s difficult chances are your not gonna be able to do it. if you think it’s literally nothing and the easiest shit ever almost like its a joke to even think about doing something like that. then youve already won

As a young adult, I struggle w/ this too, but I also feel attacked by the video game part..Video games in my downtime is my hobby and I don't want to change that as long as you don't neglect other important responsibilities. That doesn't make me a loser but you make it seem like it's a bad thing. Also, I just got a girlfriend and I don't want her to find out. I'm using her to help motivate me to fight the urge to watch and overcome the addiction. Do it for her but mostly for myself. She seems like a mature, and nice girl and I don't want to loose her. It's hard to find good woman in this world nowadays. I need all the motivation and help I can get if you're reading this.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with playing video games if you enjoy it, I do it too. The only issue is when it goes from being a hobby to being an addiction. If you're spending 6 hours every day playing video games it's not a hobby anymore but an addiction. I am 100% addicted to video games (can literally spend 15 hours on a free day just playing League of Legends). It's my escape from reality. The first step in overcoming an addiction is admitting to yourself that you are indeed, addicted. Once you've admitted it to yourself you can then take action in order to overcome it but you will never be able to do it as long as you're in denial. And just to clarify that I am not pointing fingers directly to you, I am just speaking in general.

Videos games aren’t bad. However, imagine if you did use you downtime for something much more productive and could benefit you in the future like, reading, learning an instrument or maybe another language, perhaps exercise? Maybe learn how to do wood working or fix cars? Things like that. Just food for thought. It’s your life. Honestly I lost all interest in video games a few years ago. I could never imagine that could happen but it did. Things change.

Totally agree on meditation. Personally for a long time i was just trying to concentrate on my breath but never progressed with that technique. Since some times, i really try to be conscious of my thoughts and to just let them evaporate. And then just waiting for another random thought to come and again, just let it evaporate. It's what works the best with me. Also, when you have a moment of distraction and maybe you take your phone or get up or anything, don't let it ruin your session. You always can seat back et continue it. It's not like you lost everything just by having a lack of concentration during 1 minute (personnaly i use a chronometer and don't give up the session before 15 minutes at least, even if i used my phone by the time)

Thats really great! 6 days is an incredible accomplishment! One thing that has helped me when I do relapse is… don’t beat yourself up… if you self destroy your progress by telling yourself that, “you can’t do this” or “I’ll never get past this” it will be more likely for your brain to believe those lies and when you get the temptation in the future, you might give in more easily. Instead, after the high of dopamine wears off, and a sense of sadness or failure kicks in, take deep breaths and dedicate your brain to think about staying committed, like the video talked about stay open minded. With every real world war, the struggle isn’t just trying to defeat the enemy, its also important to know how to handle defeat and to rebuild and attack again. I will be praying for you! And kudos to you for talking about this topic, its not easy!

It really does lend itself to overall bad health but I think arguably it creates a lot of sexual and mental illness. I'm sure someone somewhere (tel a viv) wearing a tuxedo and smoking a cigar is all too aware of this and is rubbing their hands together ferociously chuckling to themselves as they watch the net revenue from televised sex trafficking reach billions of dollars while at the same time achieving eugenic dreams that only the most nefarious people in this world work towards.

Masturbation alone is not harmful, heck it even has a lot of benefits, there's multiple studies with evidence solid enough to say that fap alone can't hurt you, the damage comes when there's an addiction to fap, addiction to social media, faping watching porn is the worst thing you can do, use your imagination instead, the other mistake people make is faping when they are stressed or just because they had an urge, no, fap has to be done when you are completely relaxed, not stressed, and it has to be done under control, so establish a healthy routine if you want to masturbate let's say every 8-10 days I won't do it more than twice, stick to that routine and respect it, you will get the best of fap without damaging your body, instead, quit social media, quit porn, quit videogames, quit any addiction, including fap, that's what you should be doing ( fap addiction is considered when you do it more than 3 times in 15h so keep that in mind)
