Hey big guy. What’s the shortcut to loop any section you want? at marker 3:17 you are explaining “awake my soul” and I see your loop bar jumping from one section to another. Would please share that ?

When I pull up logic and hover over the loop option at the top of the window, it shows me my keyboard shortcut is set to "C".

i just figured it out, you have to export all your midi tracks to WAV or MP3. And after doing that, paste your WAV or MP3 to your Logic file. And make sure to split that WAV file or MP3, in synced with your markers. You can control it by clicking the left and right arrows on your Macbook@@ThatDevOpsKid

What about the outpput routing? How to send clicks, Cues and stereo backing tracks to mixer using a 4 in 4 out interface?

Pretty simple, common practice is routing all the tracks to the master bus, then the master to outputs 1/2, and if you want to split up cues and clicks then the order doesn’t matter much, one goes to 3 and one to 4

Just open the editor and use the draw button to put in the notes for the click. That way you aren't recording them moving. You can also select them all and put to the same velocity. from the edit menu.

Easy way to copypaste something in Logic Pro X is to just hold down option while dragging MIDI / regions to the new location. That might save you a few seconds instead of 'cmd+C, set playhead, cmd+V'.

I figured it out! Go to "Logic Pro" (left of "file" at the top), click on "key commands," and then "edit assignments." Search for "set locators". Look for "set locators by marker and enable cycle." Go ahead and assign a key shortcut. Now assign a shortcut for "set locators by the previous marker and enable cycle," and then do the same for the "next" version of that same command. After assigning these 3, exit the key commands window and use the first command you assigned. This will enable the mode itself. Now, test it out; it should work!

Guys! For those asking about how to scroll around cycles, hold shift and CMD then comma (,) or period (.) to move forward and backward between markers. Although I know it only works well with markers. Cheers!

so how will the click output sound wont be playing outside together with the whole track but only for the band in ear monitors?

Routing - this all depends on what interface you're using! Instead of routing the click track through the normal stereo output, you'd have it go to another output - from there, you can send the click to just in-ear monitors without it going into the house

I feel sympathy for the church that has to sing to a clicktrack 😂😂😂. After having encountered gazillions of musicians who are not really able to do that. It requires a lot of practice. And it is not natural. It is ok for a studio recording, but definitely not for live, most definitely not for worship where the music has to breathe with the people. You kill it if you do what you do. Better using just a guitar or a piano than using computer backing garbage. You don’t need all that in a live church situation. If you cannot get worship going with one guitar or even one ukulele, get out of it and make space for one that can.
