To disable decals on specify object, just search the Receive Decals parameters on details and uncheck it

3:52 if I remember correctly there is something called stencil channel or something like that you can use to filter. or if you don't want for an object to receive any decal thee is a checkbox in the mesh details for that

when importing you can check "combine meshes" and it makes everything into one mesh

to not have an object be effected by a decal, select the object and search its properties for receives decal and uncheck that

10 yıldan uzun süredir var olan HDR teknolojisini kullanan UE5 ile yapılan Unrecord oyunu birçok kişi şaşkınlıkla izliyor. Biz bunları Unity 5 ten SRP serüvenine kadar devam eden Built-In Render boru hattında da yapabiliyorduk. Unreal Engine güzel bir teknoloji ama Unity oyun motoruda 5.sürümde takılı kalmadı. Unity'e fazla önyargıyla karşılandığını düşünüyorum.

To remove decals, you have to go to that specific object properties and uncheck "Receive decals". Oops Unreal so easy!!

spent 4 years in collage forced to learn unity. finally switched to unreal and its the best decision I've ever made. Unity is such a waste of time and the company is horribly mis managed. Epic never had to do layoffs. Unity blew 2B on weta while their core product still sucks... then first the people who make that core product better.

I can tell you've never used unreal to make something other than a quick scene, you'd hate it if you had to develop a game in it
