Or until it burns, swells, stings, until your skin rips at every rough touch (objects)/when your skin isn't strong enough to withstand different textures, otherwise it rips, bleeds, or until you have to be mindful how much water, and the frequency of soaks (e.g., hands washing dishes), or all the scented/other products you have to stay away from. It's really difficult when it's chronic and in multiple places. It's not even about aesthetics.

How inspiring, Today I watch the whole video, The journey of this pain cannot imagine. I am 78 Years young, and had this breakout on my entire body the worst being my legs and feet. I have never in my life had to go through this, I have skin allergy such as hives and insects seem to love me. It was a shock to me waking up at night with full on itch my chest, arms but not my face. It started with a bite on one of my walks(I walk and short sprint 5 min to 10 in a one hour walk or 1 1/2 hour walk. However I had the strong feeling something was going to happen as I have been depressed for over 11 years. Due to a family member bullying, so much happens to me, basically I am strong person. To cut short now I am fighting back to regain the person I was ( lost self esteem, devalued, bullying etc.) I have a good support team of friends that I never told not even brother, sister then. So now with the help my doctor, I am fighting back.. I am now having foods that fight inflammation. Green smoothies, vegetables, salmon. Etc. It is very hot summer now, I would normally be out walking everyday. So I will have to start 3-4 days week to get into the routine, my left ankle is so swollen, cannot wear my walk shoes. So looking at support sandal that does not hurt my ankle? So this has been going on at its worst for a year. So the stress level has affected my immune system. I admire you very much and everything you said is true on how you handled this part of your journey. I have not met you, but I am so proud of you, look Where you are now. @seabreeze14364 жыл бұрын
LetsGetWeird He tested foods allergens, checked my inflammation markers, and found I wasn’t properly digesting food I was consuming. I cut out gluten, dairy, sugar (induces inflammation), and all raw foods. Whatever I ate was very cooked down, basically predigested. He also gave me herbs for my adrenals and to clear my digestive tract. He thought it would take 6 months but I followed his protocol religiously. He also gave me weekly acupuncture. Overall, it was a combination of hormonal and digestive stress. I worked on reducing my stress on my own but it’s inherently a stressful process so I had to be patient and trust the process. After two months I significantly improved/healed, however if I had anything that triggered inflammation I would notice a flare up. My naturopath was honestly the only doctor who believed I could heal and guided me on that path of healing. The docs at Columbia University just wanted to put me on steroids and didn’t believe I would heal. If you are facing problems with eczema I strongly believe people should seek a naturopath, because there are many lifestyle factors that trigger the autoimmune response that manifests as eczema. Hope this helps!

This is exactly what my sister went through and still currently trying to fix this naturally. This has been years of misery for her and years of misery to watch her in this pain. Everything you said and all the symptoms you went through is exactly what she has been dealing with. It's a relief to hear someone else knowing and understanding the severity of this and talking about it. Thank you for making this video. The one thing that has been helping her naturally after the many many things we've tried for years, is this magical news I found through an herbal class I took, by an ex doctor, to try to figure her situation out...is celery juice! She said she immediately started to feel relief down to the bone, she is still struggling, but were getting closer to the root issue day by day.

I am glad that you finally cured. I used to have bad eczema when I lived in KL for a year. My neck looked like your elbow. All the medicines were not working at all. Then I moved back to my country, I got well. My conclusions: where we live and what we eat matter. (That means the water, weather, dust, the food, can trigger allergic reactions to some people).
@claramalha86044 жыл бұрын
I was in tears at the end of the video of how well you describe what all of us go or has gone through at some point. I accidentally started a TSW in the beggining of quarentine in march (accidentally because at the time I didn't know it was a thing), I didn't use any topycal steroids for about a month and was eating really healthy, but somehow my skin had never been worse. I cried everyday from the pain and itchiness and the frustration of it all, why was my skin so bad if I was doing everything right? And after a loooot of research and thanks to videos like yours I finally understood why this happened. Unfortunately It got so bad that I had a major allergic reaction, my face got all swollen and my whole body was covered in dots, so I had to take steroid pills and antiestamins (because I didn't know about TSW I called a doctor and they prescribed me this). I am about to start my TSW journey now and I am so so scared of not being able to stay positive and go back to steroids! It just makes me so mad that modern medicine is basically covering up the problem and not caring where it comes from!

11:36 I am so happy I’m not alone with this, also very sad that we had/have to go through this. Every morning I wake up with lots of dry flakes of skin in my bed. It just ruins my mood for the entire morning. I can barely move in the mornings until I put on my lotion. My skin has gotten a lot better but sometimes when I itch, it still reopens the wounds. When I move throughout the night, my wounds will reopen too. In the mornings it’s a bit difficult to slap lotion on it without stinging. My mom doesn’t understand how hard it is, and I feel like she ignores the mental toll it can put on me too, me already being an insecure teen.

We're still responsible from the things we've done to ourselves without knowing the damage it would've caused. The fact that we didn't know this when consuming the steroids doesn't excuse us sadly. Are doctors to blame? Fuck yes they are. At least their teachers / professors. How would you NOT research an area as obvious as this until now? How would you find out a drug that passes as your body's cortisol and then not test it for addiction, withdrawal, long term use? And the fact that very rarely you'll meet a dermatologist recognize the fking disease as it is, just goes to show the people who are treating us, aren't really that well informed as far as the human body goes. Anyway, now we have dupilumab, crisaborole or crisabole whateverthefk its name is, and calcineurin inhibitors like tacrolimus/pimecrolimus. Dupilumab injection seems to be effective, and it isn't a steroid, which is good, but don't expect miracles. Other than that there's a new JAK inhibitor drug coming out by Pfizer. You may wanna ask your dermatologist for that. It's not out yet I don't think. Check national eczema association site and itsan.org If you are going through this, what does help is the adrenal fatigue diet. You don't want to waste cortisol by drinking caffeine or what not. And there are some foods that heal quicker the adrenal glands. May wanna check out adrenal fatigue diet and check healthline or webmd or whatever. If you're going through with this, antihistamines shouldn't work, it shouldn't be allergenic, just take care of your adrenal glands, once they're fixed you're fixed.

If you are going through this, you have to stop cold turkey. It will hurt, you will cry, you will be embarrassed, but it will make you mentally stronger. Theres no way but through it For the itching, I used oils mixed with high menthol content to soothe it. Something like icy hot or bengay work super well in this regard. But, find something less chemically, just make sure the menthol content is high enough to give an icy hot feeling. It's like scratching without actually scratching it. Just let the menthol do the work

But when I was able to calm down I started really looking into exactly what is eczema and how can I help myself. I was so shocked to hear about steroid withdrawals. I’ve been using steroid cream my whole life. It mostly helps but the last 2 years I feel like it’s not the same. This video made so much sense too me, and it’s soo relieving being able to relate with you. Sometime, especially with morning, it feels like no one understands you. And that your the one who make it worse because you don’t have self control and you make your skin bad... and that’s just not true. Not true at all, and it’s beautiful hearing your story.
