Psilocybin mushrooms lifted a veil of negativity off of me and allowed me to see the world and my life from a different perspective. Before, when I had negative thoughts about myself as soon as I thought it I absolutely believed it. No matter how rediculous or damaging it was to me. But after my mushroom trip I was able to view my thoughts from like a third person point of view. I could easily recognize when my mind was trying to go to that dark place and I could simply set those thoughts aside and not give them any of my energy. I can now find so much beauty in everyday life and I can appreciate even the most mundane things. It was literally like hitting a reset button and having a blank canvas. Then you're able to fill the canvas with your love and intention and finally start to live how you've always known you could. Peace, Love and eat mushrooms. Cheers

"chemical imbalance" seriously how does a doctor prove that???
@GarryBurgess4 жыл бұрын
they can't because it's nonsense. Even if it were true, it's more likely that depression causes the imbalance instead of vice-versa.

Awesome video!!! And, I wish you the best!!! I'm a gay man, too. And, suffered from severe depression and anxiety (most of it coming from the fact that I went to an extremely abusive Church, if you'd want to even call it that, preaching against gays, and just being extremely homophobic. Learned to HATE myself, and even ended up trying to commit suicide because of the whole experience. Happy to say that I am doing much better, now, though. Removed myself from that toxic Church that I was going to. And, started to learn how to love myself for who I am (meaning my TRUE self). Anyways, I think it's good that we put POSITIVE videos, etc., on Facebook, KZbin, etc., etc., etc., for those who are NOT yet aware that life can be different for them, and that they do NOT have to listen to the lies of the Church. And, by that, I don't mean that ALL Churches are like this, because I know a LOT of Churches which are not like this. More and more Churches are coming out in support of gay people (and others who might have felt totally rejected). Well, I don't feel like I wrote this post just right. But, I'm sure you know what I was *trying* to say, here. LOL ;)

I would love to try micro dosing, after struggling to get off of painkillers that I was prescribed for over 10 years I now find myself struggling with severe depression. Before my back injury I was a very positive outgoing person, I loved life and couldn't wait to get up in the morning start my day. Now I struggle to get out of bed, muddle through the day, I know I can think about is going back to bed, it's no life to live. What where does a 53 year-old man find psychedelic mushrooms, without everyone thinking I'm a cop or something.

This is one of the best videos I have seen on depression. Firstly you had depression which in my opinion qualifies you to give advice on the subject. Secondly you identified the root cause as a series of depressed thoughts and feelings which culminated in the symptoms. Thirdly you were able to change your own vibration through self acceptance and self love. Once you did this the symptoms dissappeared. You changed your internal chemistry through changing your thoughts and feelings. You pushed away the old self or old identity and allowed the spirit you were born with to come through. You have the courage of a Lion and the heart of one too.

Robert Whitaker in his books Mad in America and Anatomy of an Epidemic shares his research about "the chemical imbalance" phrase was a marketing message created by Big Pharma in the 1970's. I would definitely recommend taking a look at his well researched books.

Connecting to spirits, yes it is more than possible. It feels like one is connected to an online chat room, with your sense of hearing having another parameter. There are lots of ways you can end up stumbling across its existence, perhaps life is out of balance so you're instinctually tuning in to an escapism frequency. Bingo you're there, over the rainbow they say. The bad connotations usually ensue, but there are many beautiful gifts to be learned and like Colby said its about not being afraid of who you really are and therefore you can appreciate being present again :)

Although self acceptance is important, nutritional deficiencies can aggravate depression. If you are still having trouble you should look into that
@guilhermenunes30447 жыл бұрын
In my opinion about depression can be subjective, and also pretty much physical. People will adapt themselves to live with it, to figure out ways to deal, just like any other physical problem, and thats great, wonderful. In terms of subjective approach, we cannot rely only on that because the brain is a very complex structure - for example, someone is borned deaf or blind (since is also brain issue), or they have schizophrenia, that does not mean they have lack of spiritiuality or some sort of behavior component, they just borned like that, so in this case, why when is related to emotions, we tent to think that they are always some sort of spiritiuality or unsolved problems in life, and never about brain (when clearly there are plenty of other issues related to the brain). Thats just an argument we could consider on the subject. Thanks!!

Because science itself can now confirm that psychological issues (personality ) emotional troubles (especially trauma, lack of social support, bad parenting, distorted self, bullying, social isolation ) and social troubles (chronic low-income, war, social isolation due to a disability etc) , in particular if you experienced them while in developmental period, puts you at much much much greater risk for depression anxiety and also chronic physical ilness (because these stressors disregulate stress response and put you in a chronic inflammayion state) ...(also, last researches put even more serious psychopathologies down to these causes , at least in part, though they have undoubtly a larger hereditary part in it). So, yes, there may be some pure biological case (as you said, a disease) but they are the exceptions, that's why they are usually multi etiological disorders, that's why among the other things psychotherapies and , for some, spiritual development or sane lovely relationships, help. Some just manage better, some completely recover and never relapse despite going thru all kind of super stressors, some continue to suffer. Just have a look at the hundreds of researches been done in last years on pubmed or ncbi.

Roberto So if youve encountered these social, emotional, and psychological troubles and are in a constant inflammatory state (i have vitiligo for example) and suffer from depression, social anxiety, anxiety in general, what is best way to approach therapy?

The only reality is get way from people that are not compatible with you . EVEN IF THEY ARE YOUR MOTHER OT FATHER . IT DOES NOT MATER WHO THEY ARE , SISTERS , BROTHERS , WHOEVER . I HAD A TERRIBLE PROBLEM WITH PARENTS . My MOTHER ? I HATE HER , CAUSE SHE MADE MY LIFE A HELL WITH OBSESSED RELIGION . AND SHE HAD AND HAS POISON HEART EVEN BEING SO RELIGIOUS . When I got away from all those people that I was to please them and not being enough for them . Never is enough for them to be pleased AND THEY NEVER GIVE A SHIT TO PLEASE YOU , TRUST ME . They are absolute shit . They want you to change , they want to change your nature , they way you think , to think like them , to believe in what they believe in and all the CONFLICTS starts and never ends even if you move away from you family home they will keep ask you question about your personal life and they did it with me . And I said to my Mother and step daddy I DON'T WHAT TO SEE YOU BOTH ANYMORE , otherwise I will end killing you both for sure and I wont regret it at all for the bad you both have done to me , to my life for so long . For me you are both DEAD VERY DEAD INDEED AND GOODBYE for now . I am 54 and I left it to go too far to get this attitude . Now I am in peace of mind .

There is a very good Cure for Depression in life. But many depressed people will not accept it. If you are depressed here are the things you need to do. Have Firm belief in heart that 1. Accept that There is One Almighty God. The Creator. No one can harm you when God protects you. and no one can benefit you when God does not benefit you. tears will come out from your eyes. 2. Read the Quran Translation version. 3. Go to Mosque, humble yourself, Recognize your mistake and sins, Repent to God and ask forgiveness from God and Believe in the heart that God forgave you. and Pray this way everyday 5 times in the Mosque. 3. Stay connected with God all the time as Perform Zikr(recite in your heart Only God is all powerful. Only God is most Holy, All praise to only God) in your Heart. These Muslim life style will take you out of depression. I guarantee you.
