I loooove neuropsychology ! I'm working on my masters in applied behavior analysis and I want to combine this when I finish ! Not sure if I want a doctorate tho or I can just specialize on brain injuries , but I'll just work with behaviors rather than cognition and neuro. Love this channel !

As a person who changed their intended degree throughout their bachelor's, it is so so comforting to know that their are other people out there who did the same as well and it all worked out in the end. Thank you so much for you honesty and humilty! 🤍🧠

I know right? Sometimes we put too much pressure on ourselves and force us to like something that might not be the thing we are supposed to be doing. Glad to hear you’re on a happier place now as well 💕

which school did you apply to for your neuropsychology masters and would you please be able to go over the process of applying to grad school in neuropsychology?
@mrsbrains22722 жыл бұрын
I did it in Spain, the process really depends on the universities and the country... I guess the best option is to ask someone at the universities you are considering because they will give a better insight

Please may i know thatCan an arts student become neuropsychologist???
@shobhatawde30713 жыл бұрын
you've got to get bachelors in psychology preferably bsc.(yes, arts students can get bsc in psychology) plus msc in clinical neuropsychology or clinical psychology and then do ph.D or psy.D in neuropsychology. With just a master's there are very less opportunities but still good enough.

I am currently debating whether I want to pursue clinical neuropsychology as my future career. I really do believe that what is meant for you will be for you, any other advice for someone who is hesitate about choosing the right career and not regretting it?
@mrsbrains22722 жыл бұрын
It will be a bigger regret wondering what if than taking a leap of faith and trying what you think you like. Worst case scenario you try it and you don't like it, which means you'll be a step closer to finding what you like! I feel you here! You will figure it out, believe in yourself

Any advice on getting a masters degree in clinical neuropsychology in the netherlands as an international student? Is it hard to find an internship in English? University options? Career prospects in the netherlands...
@mrsbrains22723 жыл бұрын
If you're planning to work in research English would be okay, if you're planning on working clinically, then you definitely will need to learn Dutch! All Dutch universities that offer something related to neuropsychology are pretty good, perhaps the one with more options is Maastricht University
